ETA ::Profile (Ungava)

     Deep in the wild, way off in the north, there are stories of beasts that lurk beneath the waters of lakes and rivers, attacking fishermen and swimmers and dragging them into the deep. The first settlers of the new world talk about it in their lore and the geologists and hunters that visit that part of the world act supersticiously, always keeping an eye out on their surrounding on the waterside. Their fears were very justifiable, and that's where Ungava comes in.

     The beast that lives beneath the surface is none other than a common river otter, and even though that might sound adorable, that's where most people make their biggest mistake. Ungava was an otter all right, but he was a big one, and once he comes for you, there's very little you can do to get away from somebody that spends more than half his life under the water.

     Ungava is big enough to topple your kayak, quick enough to outswim the best swimmers, and hungry enough to devour small groups of campers without leaving any trace other than their abandoned camping site. Bigger than a tiger, the otter's diet includes bears, caribou, wolves and whatever gets close enough to the lake or river he temporarily resides in. Still interested? If you lay down on the shore and wait long enough, you're bound to get to see him up close, maybe even too close for your own good.

Appearance

     With more than 8 feet long, tail excluded, Ungava is without a doubt the largest of otters there is in the world. He looks like a very normal otter; oily coat of brown fur, small whiskers on his muzzle, and semi-webbed feet that help him swim around quickly. Due to his size (and the vast amount of energy he gets from large meals,) he can swim quicker than most people can paddle, and can nearly catch up with motor boats, as long as they're not too quick. He has a thick tail that he can use to whip at prey and knock unconscious, and most of the time, when he isn't stuffed with food or doesn't have a stomach too pudgy from all the meat he devours, Ungava looks like a very healthy creature overall, albeit with a very unconventional diet.

Personality

     Perhaps the most important thing to mention is that the otter is sentient and able to speak. Feeding on humans and anthros, the predator found it worthwhile to learn their language and observe them from afar. He has had conversations with his food in the past, and though there are some aspects of them he still doesn't understand, he knows enough about most other creature's habits to be able to surprise them as efficiently as possible.

     Like any other creature, there's more to Ungava than only hunting and eating. Otters being social creatures, he likes to have company every now and then. People that react differently to him than most other creatures have the tendency to make him curious and he can sometimes be convinced to let them survive outside his stomach for weeks, months, or even years. However, Ungava knows better than to let people out of his sight so they can warn others of his existence.

     Being different than all the other otters, he also reacts differently to their presence in certain cases. For one, he isn't against eating some of his kin, particularly other males and females that he can't mate with. He's been known to show signs affection to creatures other than otters though, both sexual and non-sexual.

I don’t really have that much to say here. Just a few things:

I really don’t like planning everything from scratch right down to specifics. Sure, it’s good to have a guiding line, though we can work things out from there.

I am capable of writing quite a few lines per post, but that doesn’t mean that I’ll enjoy doing so all the times. When responding becomes a pain because there’s too much pressure to perform, I kinda lose the will to play. This is why I like things being informal and casual. It’s just a preference though.

I’m a very open minded person who likes to try out new things. Have no fear if you have unique ideas to discuss with me. I’ll most likely be more than happy to hear about them and maybe help out making these ideas a fun-filled roleplay!

I'm sorry, but I have a hard time interacting with many people at once. This means that if I play in public and I'm already busy with a few other people, there is a slight probability that I might forget to acknowledge your actions or presence. Sometimes, there's so much happening at once in a single scene that it would be easier to simply talk to me in private while I continue with my previous shenanigans.
