Anthro Horse

Sitting cross-legged in the middle of a large pavilion, Zhuan Xie was doing some calligraphy, a small cup of green tea sitting on his small table. With a few nimble strokes of his brush, the stallion wrote a few words, then looked up at the guest that had just reached his quarters. He stepped on his feet and swished his brushy tail.

The prince wore an opulent robe with a paler taint than that of his brown, gracious fur. The stallion dropped his paint brush in the small bowl of ink on his table. It might very well have been built with the fur from his very tail, stiff as it was.

The stallion was young, perhaps twenty-three years old. He was tall, had the shape of a warrior with the eyes of a scholar... And when his lips curved into a grin, he looked like a dragon patiently waiting for the right moment to swoop down on its prey.

Apparently, the prince was an excellent fighter. He could often be seen in the large, stone courtyard separating the many buildings within the palace walls, training with his great collection of weapons. There was something impressive in seeing a muscular, bare-chested stallion flailing a spear around and yet making it seem like it was a elaborate choreography.

Although losing in battle while facing Xie might seem a tinge... Enticing, it usually led to greater harm than simply being captured. The horse had a strange way of celebrating victory over foes and minions, whether they be mere peasants or powerful generals whom dared threaten his father's kingdom. Every now and then, the stallion happened to practice his fighting with a round, wobbling gut, and although it might sound like a strange, curious sight at first, it mostly turned out becoming a weird obsession that sometimes convinced the most intensely hypnotized onlookers that losing to Xie wasn't that bad of an idea after all.

If only they knew what it was like in there!

Appearance

Xie was the eldest son of the emperor of a powerful emperor, and it showed. The war-faring state had high standards for its rulers, and the stallion looked like he gave his appearance much time and attention.

The stallion's fur was brown nearly everywhere. His muzzle was paler than the rest of his coat, and the extremities of all four of his limbs shared the same ebony colour as his hair and tail had.

Speaking of which, Xie's long mane was mostly black, with a few strands of light grey. He wore a small pony-tail that kept a small amount of his fuzzy mane neatly tied up, but it did nothing to prevent the overflow of hair from reaching down to his posterior.

The equine wore a wide array of clothes, depending on the situation. In calmer, more formal situations, he wore sumptuous robes, with imprints of dragons, tigers, or sometimes none at all. Other times, he could wear long-sleeved shirts when he needed to be slightly less... Encumbered with long, silk robes. At night, and in private, he simply wore nothing at all, and didn't really bother buying curtains. It wasn't like a body like his needed to be hid.

Xie is about two meters tall, (6 feet and 7 inches) and weighs about 100 kg (220 pounds).

Personality

With an important role like his, Xie couldn't spare being seen as a weak or feeble horse. He played his role convincingly, perhaps because his general demeanour was fit with that of a prince. He was always serious in public, tried to seem well-instructed, and wise. Although he was young, his name was already known in all parts of the kingdom, including the surrounding ones and his father's vassal states. This made him a well-protected horse who rarely mingled with common anthros living in the city or countryside. Reclusive, he knew how to keep busy, and spent lots of time writing, reading, painting, or training. He had a certain affinity for music, and had a tendency of flicking his ears relentlessly when presented a tune or song that he appreciated.

With close friends, the horse was a bit different. He took less care acting like a good, civilized heir to the throne, assuming that he trusted the individual. He could be playful, bashing, and sometimes so eager to have fun and have a more genuine contact with his friends that he got touchy. And licky. And flirty.

It went without saying that a pent up horse without much outside stimuli at all could be a bit frisky now and then, and it generally made the equine a self-assured, enticing person to be next to, especially if you weren't adverse to his advances. He had no qualms with being closer friends with people he really, really trusted. If ever he wasn't convinced that their relationship could be kept secret, the horse always had a few tricks up his sleeves to silence somebody who broke his or her words.

History

There isn't much out of the ordinary in the stallion's experience of life, if ordinary for you is the life of a travelling warrior with more instruction than mostly anybody in the kingdom.

The stallion spent most of his youth playing with the sons and daughters of other nobles, all horses. Then, as soon as he was deemed fit to start learning, he was restricted access to the palace's common area and confined to a small pavilion dedicated to the colt's education. He learned writing at five, knew arithmetic the year after, and composed poems around ten. The next five years were dedicated to the art of war, receiving both theoretical and practical training.

The stallion spent most of his later years of adolescence on the battlefield, where he first met people of lower class. Exposed to all kinds of different people, species, situations, it was while warring that the equine turned to an adult. It was there that he went through puberty (a late puberty thanks to the prison he was kept in during his entire childhood,) there that he consolidated his image of a victorious, ferocious war horse, and there that he first learned original ways to torture and dispose of his enemies. Of course, he also learned how to return prisoners of war to his homeland, often travelling for weeks with a well-stuffed gut.

Nowadays, Xie spent most of his time in his quarters, occasionally leaving to visit a few nobles and ministers and to discuss war, politics. Every now and then, he disappeared to undisclosed places, and it wasn't quite clear what he did there. The prince was always ready to leave to distant lands if ever there was a threat to thwart, however.

OOC

I don’t really have that much to say here. Just a few things:
