Next Update:
27 Remain
  • Character redesigns (27 Remain)
    • This will be done over time utilizing NovelAI, editing software, and a lot of patience, but it would be nice to not lean on the work of artists without their knowledge. I don't intend to do this any earlier than 27 girls remaining, but will likely start working on it at around 30 remaining. I want to make sure I get these redesigns right and give them the proper amount of effort. Given how finicky AI models are with image generation, I don't want to shortchange the effort by making myself do it any more than is absolutely necessary.
  • Small additions to game mechanics (Done!)
    • See three new bullet points under Rules, Notes, and Preferences below!
  • Additional flavor for character profiles and overworld (27 Remain)
    • I have been working on teaching myself front-end development, and will continue to do so over the course of the game. Should that go well, I will add more content and overhaul the profile at 27 remaining. If it doesn't, I won't. So far so good, though!
  • New difficulty rating system (27 Remain - Done!)
    • I wound up hyperfixating on this aspect, so it's both confirmed and complete ahead of time! I'll still wait until 27 remaining to roll it out, but to give players an idea: There will still be a letter system, but it will serve more so as flavor to a more nuanced Challenge Rating (CR) to describe how difficult a girl should be to attain. The CR will be a single number that – while technically limitless – will realistically be in the range of 0 to 5000. Players will also be able to see four attribute stats for a girl's physical and intellectual prowess, environmental difficulty, and experience. These should help players make more informed decisions, and will be elaborated upon when there are 27 girls remaining.

All artwork and characters belong to their original respective artists and creators. Any artwork is used for reference only and is in no way claimed to be original to this profile.

Alderstammer was a wonderful city. An emblematic metropolis representing what the future held for humanity at the intersection of affluence, creativity, and business-mindedness. Complete with shining, modern skyscrapers and sweeping, green suburbs, the newer city was home to more than 870,000 residents at its peak. Drawing in people from all walks of life and cultures, Alderstammer provided lush green spaces, alongside healthy and thriving market districts for the small business owner to find their footing just outside the fast-paced downtown where the more established could set up headquarters, storehouses, and fill up levels upon levels of office building for increased productivity. One wouldn't be terribly off the mark in calling Alderstammer a utopia for the modern human.

At least, that's what Alderstammer was.

Due to some cruel twist of fate, such opulence made it such that the humans that comprised the vast majority of Alderstammer's population – especially the women – were a bit too pampered for their own good. They began to attract the wrong kinds of attention from multitudinous sources all at once. Creeping out from the surrounding woods, adjacent communities, even other worlds and dimensions, the populace of Alderstammer was curiously prodded and pecked at before being embraced as a source of food and entertainment by predatory species and other ne'er-do-wells. Disappearances became anomalously frequent, and then a high-profile problem generating public outcry. The city was no longer safe. This led to frantic relocation or outright fleeing if one did not have the economic means to do the former on short notice. This would lead to companies crumbling, jobs being lost, all while disappearances continued. It was a downward, self-feeding spiral that had only one possible, damning conclusion.

Today, the population of Alderstammer sits just beneath 25,000 residents, now a vastly expensive, shiny-yet-quickly-fading husk; a mere shadow of its former self. Most storefronts are coldly shuttered with the occasional spark of life in a stubborn or isolated resident that knew they didn't fit the preferences of those that would readily bring harm on the populace around them. One would imagine that this would be the natural end of the story now that virtually all of the desirable women that resided in Alderstammer had either been taken or had gotten away. Unfortunately for those escapees, there is rarely ever such a thing as a clean, clear-cut ending to strife.

Those that preyed upon Alderstammer had proven themselves to be nothing if not resourceful, and the local epidemic of disappearances only attracted more attention via almost any media touchpoint one could imagine. Abandoned homes and offices were sitting and begging to be pilfered and filtered through. People talk. Information is passed from one to another, to another, to another... and is eventually compiled. Be it birthed from a collective grudge, desire, or morbid curiosity, a list of survivors was assembled with as much information as could be gleaned. Reaching a pleasingly round number, this group of runaways came to be known as the 'Alderstammer Fifty', which was quickly superseded by the more general 'Alderstammer Girls'. Whether or not these pseudo-fortunates would like it, they were now celebrities in a very, very particular circle. Now no longer centralized and spread across the country and world at large, finding new lives to the best of their ability, they have also become substantially harder to track down. All of these factors combined make them highly prestigious prey. What comes next is entirely up to those that look up to them. Perhaps one wishes to simply meet one of these fated survivors, perhaps another would wish to achieve the bragging rights of having caught one of these girls calloused by famous tribulations... whether the intention is catch-and-release or something far less revocable.

Rules, Notes, and Preferences
  • All are welcome to interact with this profile in most any way you would like! There are a few restrictions which are elaborated upon below, but this truly is a sandbox simulation. If you want to try and get close to one of the infamous Alderstammer Girls to try and get to know them, ask questions, antagonize, party, et cetera, you're welcome to try it.
  • As far as vore goes, I do request we stick to soft oral vore only. Please respect this. Both endosoma and digestion are perfectly fine!
  • General competency with regards to spelling and grammar is required. You don't have to be perfect, I just shouldn't have to read your posts repeatedly to understand what you're saying.
  • Unlike before, a girl being eaten will not remove her from the roster immediately. Depending on and fluctuating with the number of active players, girls will have a fixed number of 'lives'. This does mean that the number of lives the girls have could tick downwards should the player base dry out, and that could result in a bunch of girls dropping from the roster at once. Be aware of this. If enough players are actively pursuing a girl with sinister intent, that girl will be marked as 'Unavailable' to avoid players chasing girls just to have them fall off of the roster before they can get them.
  • Gameplay with this profile mimics that of Dungeons and Dragons. If you're unfamiliar, this means there's no conversing about what is going to happen during a scene. The setting is already defined, as are the characters. You come to this profile with a goal in mind and we'll talk about where and how your character will start their journey.
  • The above means that you do not get to decide what exists around you, and you do not get to randomly make up solutions to problems. This profile plays more to the realistic side of things. If you do not discuss something with me beforehand or declare you have an item on you earlier in play, you do not get to pull a deus ex machina and magically have an ability or item that aids you in your goal.
  • That being said, you can always ask your friendly gamemaster for ideas and information! Taking a moment to ask about something OOC is perfectly fine if you need elaboration or just want to make sure something you intend to do is within bounds. I can provide additional insight as well if it's something your character can fairly work out from their point of view.
  • More elaboration can be given in conversation with interested players, but this should convey that this profile is an on-going simulation carried out through roleplay where you have both limited point of view and limited resources. Problem solving in multiple definitions is a core part of this game. Don't be intimidated, people have already been having fun and have already succeeded in besting 950 other girls!
  • Additionally, tiers are merely a suggestion of difficulty. They are described in more detail in a table below. Depending on your particular character's skill set, traits, luck, et cetera, girls can play easier or harder than advertised.
  • That being said, the most important thing to note is that failure is very possible. I will not intentionally try to get a girl eaten for you, if that's what you're after. It's up to your decisions and the rolls of the dice. Make sure you understand this, the girls will be played realistically. It's your will against theirs.
  • As girls become increasingly difficult overall, it is increasingly likely that players may fail to capture a girl on their first attempt or even encounter a bad end. A bad end is a situation in which the player's ability to continue their story is made virtually impossible (e.g., death, arrest without chance of jailbreak, etc.). Bad ends are not permanent, and the player's story will be reinstated at the earliest point before failure. Depending on the circumstances, the girl pursued when the bad end is encountered could still gain experience and remember the player's attempt (effectively, a bad end is retconned to a vague, less severe failure should it occur). This allows a better chance for rivalries to develop.
  • In the case of a girl escaping a player at any point or the pursuit of one resulting in a bad end, the girl in question will be unavailable to that particular player until they pursue another girl successfully, at which point they may attempt pursuing her again. In the exceptionally rare event that all potentially available girls are made unavailable to a player due to repeated escapes and/or bad ends, all girls will then be unlocked and they may select any available girl to pursue.
  • Don't let the above scare you! As of the time of this small rules update, the number of bad ends encountered by players is exactly zero. Some girls have proven be rather crafty when it comes to escaping and evading, though!

S
Highly-challenging and involved scenarios, highly-capable girls, girls with celebrity status, etc.
A
Challenging scenarios, girls who are difficult to trick, take initiative instead of reacting to you, may have some level of celebrity, etc.
B
Scenarios that require a trick or two, girls that aren't gullible or are more headstrong, etc.
C
Easier scenarios, grab-and-gulp fodder, etc.

Overworld Map

Above is a reference for the larger playing field upon which a majority of the remainder of the game will take place. The large island nation of Ostrada could justify being its own, oceanic continent. While not its capital, Alderstammer was one of its largest cities. It will be up to players to work out where the remaining fifty girls have run off to. This map can serve as a useful guide for planning routes of attack or piecing together environmental evidence.
