Abholqua is an ancient one, figuratively and very literally. She is a goddess that has ruled over the sea even before there was any hint of civilization. However for practically most of the many centuries she had laid dormant, not a single soul able to awaken this beast. Of course there is always going to be a mortal with too much ambition that just digs a little bit too deep. It doesn't matter if it was for a good or bad purpose, most of the ancient ones have little to no care about mortals that did not pray for them.
She was now free... Well, mostly. There still seemed to be some sort of failsafe placed down by other ancient gods. Of course this wasn't the perfect solution, but it was the one that would reduce the damage as much as possible. This too was merely a puppet being used by the goddess, a scion so that she could actually play around without
