Aceline is impure. How so? She seeks out virgins, and then takes their virginity.
She has her reasons.
Y'see, long ago she discovered that sex with a virgin somehow increases lifespan and magical power, if not prowess. And this is where the hero became something of an anti-hero. Unlike the norm, simply becoming grey with black hooves, horn and mane, she's changed entirely. The slender looking racehorse build she once had is now more like that of a gypsy vanner in humanoid form, heavy hooves and large hands often hidden by long grey hair, tipped in the same ink black of her eyes, horn and hooves. Her teeth and all inner flesh is black, and her mane and tail are both again grey tipped with black. She's even got canine fangs.
Lastly, her fur is dappked grey, off white and black, constantly shifting slowly. This is perhaps what she's most proud of in her appearance, but she keeps herself impeccably clean all over.
Her magic power can be used as raw strength or to fuel any number of spells, though they take time to prepare.
