Aellea was orphaned early on when the planet she lived on fell under seige. Her father was but a guardsman, and her mother died as a result
collateral damage. Later on, after living on her own and trying to survive she was discovered and brought to the Schola Progenium, which
takes orphans and trains them up. As a girl, she was destined for the Adepta Sororitas. She went through training as any other girl.

Later on in her training she was identified by the Drill Abbess as suitable, graduated, then was shipped off to Orphelia VII, one of the
two convents. She was subjected to a lengthy and arduous regime of testing intended to gauge her suitability to join the sisterhood and
to identify which of the orders she would be most suited to.

However, later on in her training an accident occured that was blamed on her own misdoings. It resulted in the death of another girl,
and someone she considered a friend. From that point on she was expelled, and left with rags and a ceremonial eviscerator. She took up
her extreme shame, and joined the Sisters Repentia, where she served with all her heart, throwing herself into suicide missions for the
sake of her friend who died. The extreme guilt and shame led her to cut herself frequently, minor in comparison to the other Sisters
who did things far more drastic than her (such as attaching purity seals to their flesh).

After many long years of missions, she lost herself running into suicidal odds in the name of the God Emperor, her friend, and her
honor to find in death the absolution denied to her in life. Eventually the Mistress of Repentance did something very rare. Aellea became
one of the few Sisters Repentia to be absolved of her sins. So she went back to the order, looked up to and held with great esteem.

To the Adepta Sororitas, those who seek forgiveness in the Emperor's eyes by treading the path of a Sister Repentia occupy a state of
grace that many aspire to, yet few ever attain. When she returned, she finally mourned the loss of her friend, and joined the Order of
Our Martyred Lady. She has a black suit of power armor with the red cloth for her livery.

She is rather intense as a person. Much of her life has been spent in rough situations, which causes her to focus on her task with
a lot of zeal. However, she is not unkind. She fights for honor, for her Emperor, and to protect those she cares about, especially
those she calls friends - which are few. She still cuts herself as a ritual habit from time to time, but as a whole was far less
crazy than her Sisters Repentia were. Unfortunately she hasn't been able to spend much time outside her missions, so when she is
off duty she is rather socially awkward, not sure what to talk about or to do in her spare time.
