Personality: Good-hearted, but can be rash. Has strong morals and is sympathetic of others and their difficulties, though she will place priority on her own family or friends before total strangers. Has a tendency of becoming over-emotional and exhibits extremely rash behavior and tendency towards violence when emotionally stressed.

Bio: Helena was an agent in the United States government's Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), prior to joining the CIA she served in the United States Army. Her abilities were highly regarded by FOS operative Ingrid Hannigan, who was evaluating seven agents as possible recruits for the Division of Security Operations under orders from United States President Adam Benford. In her report, Hannigan stated that she felt that Helena's strong will made up for her tendency of becoming over-emotional, choosing Helena as a "prime candidate" over at least five other agents she evaluated. However, Helena's rash behavior would eventually lead to her being suspended from the CIA. After apprehending the suspect in a series of murders, the man began to make threats against the family of one of his victims. In retaliation, Helena used excessive force against him, an act that provoked the CIA to temporarily suspend her despite her claims of it being justified. After having returned after her suspension from the agency, Helena discovered that her younger sister, Deborah, was hospitalized by her physically abusive boyfriend. Overcome with anger, Helena retaliated by shooting and injuring the man.
