Newsham first entered the public record during the Myth Riots of 20XXX in NuCago, one of many unfortunates who was exposed to the biological weapon/drug mix known as 'Myth' though she was lucky enough to survive the ensuing suppression of the those driven into a mad rage by the anti-human bio-weapon. As per standard procedure, Newsham was given the best medical treatment that could be provided by the G-C GC scientists studying the outbreak and upon her successful recovery from her symptoms given the list of bills that would need to be paid. Like many, she was unable to afford her treatment and was given the standard choices of the citizens below the poverty line when they incurred debt. She could work off her medical bills under the employ of G-C GC or her body would be claimed as payment and used as her new corporate owners deemed fit.
Newsham chose employment.
The surprise came from the fact that Newsham tested well in combat tests and was thus qualified to be trained as one of Gellar-Cuzin GeneCo's (GC for short from now on) agents tasked with the capture or elimination of those who target the mega-corporation or default on their payments. To aid in these jobs, Newsham underwent mandatory gene-therapy to make her more capable of serving her purpose and was outfitted with the tools that GC thought necessary for completing her tasks. The cost of these expensive treatments and equipment were, of course, added to her total debt to be paid off at a future point. Considering the success she's had at capture missions, Newsham elected to purchase an inter-planetary skipper with her own hidden accounts which have since been located and emptied to reduce her debt. As such, Agent Newsham is capable of operating within a small cluster of Earth-2 and its surrounding industrilized moons and resort planetoids.
Agent Newsham does not tend to work well with her fellow agents and hunters, but this has not stopped her from making some progress at clearing her debt to GC while avoiding further bills being stacked atop what she already owes. As such, she has been promoted to Violet clearance which offers a significant pay increase for successful ventures albeit at the cost of much greater danger...
Equipment
While Agent Newsham is expected to be able to acquire her targets no matter what equipment she might be provided with, GC still saw fit to equip her with some basic equipment and gene-therapy (see below) to make her a more effective hunter.
Equipment with DNA code-locks:
- Valkyrie Sonic Emitter: Agent Newsham's side arm of choice is the standard issue pacification tool used by a variety of peace-keeping forces on Earth-2. It has been modified to have two different firing modes. The standard mode utilizes high pitched sound waves to immobilize and/or render the target unconscious within a few shots. The secondary mode is Agent Newsham's own modification and allows it to fire darts carrying either sedatives or deadly toxins.
- Chameleon Infilitratrix Bodysuit: Although there exists a version with optical camoflage options, Agent Newsham elected to go with the basic version for the extra armor. Shielded against energy weaponry, the Infiltratrix Suit effectively masks the wearer from all non visual forms of detection, including thermal and ultra-violet detection. Unless one is looking directly at the wearer, only the most sophisticated security systems are capable of detecting these suits.
- CDMs: Captivating Dominator Modules are a non-lethal capture device that proved too expensive for wide-spread use. When thrown at a target, the onboard repulsor engine activates and the small disk will begin to circle around its target while dispensing a heated latex substance to bind the target. Once determined to be sufficiently bound, the disc splits in two and settles over the subject's ears to pacify their mind as well as their body. Ideal for live capture assignments with a stealth element.
- Matrix Unit-Poison: A recent development in hacking technology, these grenades deploy a software virus across all available devices in the vicinity that shuts down their functions and leaves them inert for a set period of time. They've recently gained popularity with the rise of EMP shielding technologies and once it was discovered the virus could be 'heard' by cybernetic augmentations, essentially rendering them uselss. WARNING: Against the heavily augmented, these grenades can prove lethal!
Augments
Python Gene-Therapy
One of the very first augmentations Agent Newsham received was the precise manipulation of her genetic code to splice in the desired aspects of constricotr serpents. Thus Agent Newsham is capable of painlessly dislocating her jaw and ingesting prey that are close to her size or smaller and compacting it down to a manageable size within her belly. She also has enhanced agility and remarkable grip-strength, turning her into a formidable grappler. Side Effects: Agent Newsham has reported feeling lethargic until warmed up and becomes sluggish in cold conditions.
Safe Container Modification
In addition to the previous gene-therapy, Agent Newsham's body was modified to safely contain her targets within her stomach. Her body's ability to produce stomach acids has been greatly neutered and those it does produce are very weak, in theory she could 'ingest' a target but it would take several weeks at least and they are more likely to run out of air than be digested. As is standard, Agent Newsham was instructed in specific breathing exercises to provide her charges with oxygen or to restrict it enough for her targets to fall asleep. Side Effects: Agent Newsham does not eat often. As such she has been put on a diet of nutrient pills that has largely eliminated bodily waste. She also abstains from eating of any kind for a time before any mission she suspects she might need to detain her quarry alive or ingest them.
Extra-Net Port
Like many citizens, Agent Newsham has an extra-net link surgically implanted inside of her skull, allowing her to access and use the extra-net with but a thought and see the data displayed before her eyes. Of course once she was acquired, the security protocols on this port have been significantly upgraded to protect her personality from mindjacks, code-mantras, and so on. Side Effects: This protection is not perfect and can be eroded by Agent Newsham's own activities. Her mind and personality are vulnerable to 'corruption' that could affect the personality template used for her clones. (See below) On a personal note, Agent Newsham has requested upgraded ad-blockers.
Genesis Insurance Chip
As per standard for GC Agents, operative Newsham was installed with a GIC during her examinations that constantly monitors and updates GC's server as to her physical status. When her life signs read negative for an extended period of time, her reserved cloning chamber is activated and a new Agent Newsham is cultivated with a week old memory template downloaded into her new body. As this is an expensive endeavor, Agent Newsham's debt increases with each clone and GC reserves the right to terminate her contract if she has not recently made a sufficient payment to keep these services intact. The new clone body contains all augmentations Agent Newsham has but the memories and personality uploaded at the beginning of every week and such the events of the days leading up to her demise are a mystery to Agent Newsham. Side Effects: Special interest has been shown in Agent Newsham by management who feel her being a hunter is not an efficient use of her debt. To get their permission for Newsham's GIC, management has reserved the right to add a non-invasive augment of their choosing to each new clone. As Agent Newsham is employed under the classification of 'debt collection', these augments can be installed without her consent or knowledge. Such augments will be noted below.

Hey! This seems like a good point to talk about things. First, this profile is done up in the sense of what someone would see if they investigated Suzie in her own homeworld, but I do NOT require people to play in that setting in order to play with me. Its a fun plus but not required. Second, I don't play that much these days but I love to talk about scenes. This isn't personal and I can understand if you don't want to do it as well, that's fine! Three, I love to chat and flirt out of character and such..in other words I'm a friendly person so if you want someone to bounce ideas off of or just to chat with, hit me up~! Fourth, I like detailed roleplay that is well typed. There's nothing wrong with short and sweet, it just doesn't do much for me personally and I also understand the occasional typo or bad grammar but entire posts of it drive me crazy when roleplaying. Fifth, don't worry about approaching me, let me know if you like Suzie or think she's your jam, nothing wrong with any of that. Sixth, lets just have fun together!
