This is Ai Sendo, she didn't always look this way; as a matter of fact, she still doesn't always look this way.
Ai grew up in a small village where she worked in the family's tea and noodle shop. There, Ai was a favorite of the patrons, for her cute outfits and perky disposition; whether she was in the helping in the kitchen or out front waitressing, Ai enjoyed her life in the village. That all changed during her 17nth year. You see, Ai was not actually a child of the village. At the peak of the nearby mountain, there was a temple to old, dark gods. It was here that a very powerful warlock and an ancient fox demoness lived together, enslaving and tormenting the people of every village in sight of the mountain. This went on for several hundred years, until group of brave and stalwart heroes finally overthrew the villians by trapping their souls in a mystical stone. The stone was shattered and its pieces scattered across the land to prevent the villians servants from freeing them easily. As the heroes were about to tear down the unholy temple, they heard an infant's cries. It seemed that the warlock and the fox demoness had had a child together. The heroes could not bring themselves to slay this child of evil, so after desecrating and toppling the dark temple, the heroes brought the infant girl to the nearest village.
The heroes had named the child Ai, for they hoped that in the care of the villagers, she would become a child of love. The heroes would occasionally return to look in on dear Ai, claiming to be an uncle or an aunt. It had been decided by both the villagers and the heroes that Ai never know her who her true parents were and that she be raised to have an ordinary life. And an ordinary life is what Ai had, until that fateful day.
Due to the strong magic in her blood, Ai had never been sick; she hadn't even had so much as a sniffle or a cough. Then one day, a stranger came to the little, isolated village Ai called home. The man was actually a fugitive having run from law, he was planning to hide out in the village and mountain for a while. He had used aniseed to throw the dogs off his trail, some of which still clung to his close. Hungry, the fugitive came into the restaurant Ai's adopted family ran. No sooner had come to take the man's order, that she broke out into a sneezing fit. On the last sneeze, Ai's clothes were in tatters fox ears and nine fox tails had sprouted on her body. The villagers knew they could nolonger hide the truth from Ai. Ai's parents, along with the village elders, to her everything. They told Ai about how she came to the village, who her parents really were, everything. Much to the relief of the elders, Ai wasn't angry with them; instead she was greatful because it had explained so much. It made sense now, why she was so fascinated by foxes, why she saw or heard or even smelled things no one else could, why she would have certain feelings at times around places with a strong spiritual of magical connection. Now Ai travels, nolonger content with life in the village, she seeks to learn how the ways of magic, and how
to control her powers. Being a fox demon, Ai has a natural affinity for transformational, fire, wind, and illusion magics. Now that her blood has awakened, Ai has many new things to contend with, and new forms to learn to control. Her fun loving and slightly mischievous personality carries her through her new life witha sense of wonder, amusement, curiosity. In her travels, Ai was eventually drawn to the park by the number of magical creatures that existed there. Now with a place in town, Ai has opened her own tea and noodle shop, while searching for a teacher. The powers she has learned, she finds she can use in any form with exceptions noted below.

This is the form Ai is most comfortable with, her senses of hearing and smell are halfway between that of humans and foxes. Her eyesight is average, but she can also see magic and spiritual auras, and smell the presences of spirits and magical creatures. Ai normally hides her ears and tails, but whenever she sneezes her clothes rip and tear as her ears and tails burst forth. Ai has learned a small sense of control over the movements of her tails, able to keep them in line with deep concentration; otherwise they move as if having wills of their own. Her fox ears move instinctively based on her moods and emotions, and the occasionaly distracting noise. Her hair and fur always appear to move as if caught in a slight breeze coming from the east, regardless of what the wind is actually doing.
Feral Form:
Ai can appear as a normal female red fox. She tends to hide the other eight tails, but again, allergies or anything that may cause her to sneeze will reveal them. Ai has learned fairly moderate control of the one tail, but the presence of the others is mentally overwhelming and so she looses control of their movements when they are all out. She is fairly comfortable moving around as this is close to her true form. Her nonmagical senses are very much the equivalent of the average fox, maybe just slightly better. Her ability to sense supernatural energies and see auras is somewhat diminished while in this form. As with all of Ai's manifestations, her fur moves as if being blown by a slight breeze from the east, regardless of the wind's true intensity or direction. While certainly able to understand human speech, Ai is incapable of it while a fox. She is however quite capable of conversing with other animals.

This is a manifestation that Ai is beginning to get comfortable with. Her non-magical senses are three quarters from that of a human to a fox. Her magical and spiritual senses are quite similar to when she's in human form. While the white fur on Ai's front is a bit thinner than elsewhere, it adequately covers what it needs to. Most of the time, Ai will wear clothes while in this form, but on occassion, she will venture out with nothing on. Again, Ai tries not to draw attention to herself and generally keeps eight of her tails hidden; but as with other forms, any time she sneezes those tails will sprout forth and move about on their own. And if she happens to be wearing any clothes when she sneezes, as usual they will be torn and shredded. Because this is close to a human for, Ai has no trouble moving about, and this is the form she generally takes when trying to master control over one or more of her tails. She converses easily in human speech and the language of non-anthro foxes, she alsos posess' a very crude understanding of the languages of other non-anthro canines, but no other animals. As with all her forms, Ai's fur always appears to move as if in a breeze from the east.
Antro-Foxtaur Form: (see top)

Resembling an arctic fox, this form is the one Ai is least comfortable with out of all of her manifestations. Compared to her other forms, Ai is quite clumsey in this one; the tails were bad enough enough, but now having to coordinate and extra pair of legs has proven quite the challenge for Ai. Often, her back half will move opposite the rest of her or not at all, given this lack of motor control, Ai has no control whatso ever over the movement of her tails in this form. The unfamiliarity Ai has with this body makes it extremely difficult for her to hide her "extra" tails. This form also hints at the raw magical power inside Ai that has just barely begum to plumb. The ruffs of mane-like golden fur on her lower legs, back and lower chest, and the tongues of silver-blue fox fire that errupts around her paws on every step reveal her magical nature. The white fur covering most of Ai's body in the form is surprisingly short for an actic fox, doing little to cover her intimate areas. She has two sets of genitals in this form, one at the back and one at the front. The genitals at the front are hidden beneath a ruff of golden furn. Her non-magical senses are as good as any non-anthrofox's, while Ai's magical senses are mildly augmented while in this form. In this body Ai can use human speech and can speak the language of any canine. And while she may not be able to speek the language of any other animals outside the canince family, she can understand the language of any nonanthro land mammal. With a lithe and tightly muscled frame which speaks of far greater grace and poise than what Ai currently possess', this is by far the physically strongest form Ai has; though she is often embarrassed by her clumsiness and what the thinness of most of her fur reveals. As with all her forms, Ai's hair, fur, and even the silver blue tongues of foxfire at her paws always appears to move as if in an breeze from the east.
Demon-fox/True Form:

This is Ai's true form, and although it feels more natural to her than even her human form, Ai rarely uses this manefestation. In truteth, the sheer power this manefestaion possess' and the innate magical knowledge of the ages is very difficult for her mind to take. In this form all her senses both magical and nonmagical are beyond any of her other forms. In this body, Ai understands the languages of all things, living or otherwise; she does not speak but communicates directly to the souls and spirits of others. Fire ignites on her every step, even in the air. With her wings of golden flame, Ai is quite capable of flight. Due to the awsome magnitude of magical force unleashed and the sheer volume of her ancestral memory, Ai at present can maintain this form for only a few minutes before her inexperienced psyche is overwhelmed and she passes out. As with all her forms, Ai's fur always appears to move as if in an breeze from the east.
Powers:
It should be noted that the number of tails a fox demon has is governed by two things.
1: Age, the older a fox demon is, the more tails they have. Tails grow at a rate of 1 tail per 100 years, up to nine tails max.
2: Power, the more magical power a fox demon has, the more tails they have, up to nine tails. The moremagical and spiritual energy flowing in their blood the more powerful a fox demon is and the more tails they have.
Now as Ai is only 17 years old, so the fact she has nine tails is testament to the power she inherited through birth parents. Unfortunately, depsite having all this power, Ai has very little knowledge of how to control or use it. Magical energy seeps from her body and those who can sense such things can feel Ai's presence from a few hundred feet away, depending on their sensitivity. In her true form, Ai is like a magical beacon broadcasting her presence to such individuals nearly half a mile away. As Ai has not yet learned how to hide her aura, any magically sensitive being will know exactly what she really is once they sense her presence, no matter what form Ai may be in at the time.
Immortality- Since Ai's blood has awakened, she has not aged a single day; nor will she ever again. And other than allergies, Ai remains unaffected by nonmagical and nonspiritual diseases. Weak poisons and drugs will only make Ai ill for a certain amount of time. While stronger chemicals and venoms will severely weaken her with high fever and malaise for days until she recovers. That isn't to say that Ai is invincable, just that things of a mundane nature are less than leathal in most cases.
Demonic Existance- Both boon and bane, Ai's demoninc nature has its benefit. Because Ai was born in the material plane of man, she cannot be banished unless in some other plane of existance. As a demon, Ai is attuned to particular elements. In the presence of fire, gale force winds or stronger, or in magical and spiritual fields; Ai's powers are augmented. The last takes some explaining, all creatures and objects of a magical of spiritual nature exude and aura. The more powerful a creature or artifact is, the larger and more intense its aura. Also, certain places like magical ley lines, spiritual founts, mana wells, and the grounds of temples, shrines, and arteliers also produce powerful auras. If Ai can manage to get inside these auras, her powers are augmented. Also, being a demon, death is not permantent or even real for Ai; though she does not know this. If her body is somehow destroyed, her essence will flee and hide somewhere until such time as she can manifest a new body. However, much like her parents were, Ai can be sealed and imprisoned while in this state. Also, without a body, Ai cannot exercise her powers or interact with the physical world.
Environmental Resistances- Ai is uneffected by the cold or the heat of the environment, however she will tend to dress appropriately to avoid drawing attention to herself. Also, if caught in the rain, neither she nor her clothes get wet; even after a swim, Ai and her clothes will be dry within seconds.
Minor Healing- Superficial wounds like minor cuts, scratches, and bruises will heal within moments. More significant wounds will take considerably longer, but will still heal at twice the rate that humans do. So while a papercut is gone within seconds, a broken arm will still take several weeks; just not as many as it would for normal people.
Transformation I- Limited Self Transformation- Currently Ai transformational abilities are limited to her various manifestions, with variations on the number of tails. These abilities are expected to improve and increase with both time and experience. Note that after sneezing, it will be roughly 10-20 minutes before she'll be to successfully hide her tails again.
Simple Mending Spell- An absolute necessity considering Ai's sneezing problem. This self-taught spell allows Ai to mend her clothes back together after sneezing. Being inexperienced, Ai's rather improvised version is slow acting and takes atleast 5-7 minutes to completely repair her garments.
Lesser Fox Fire- Lesser Fox Fire is an illusionary flame. It is an instictual ability and Ai doesn't quite understand how she does it. Most often seen as silvery-blue flames, it can be of any color Ai so desires. It is however, merely an illusion and so only provides light; its flames twice as bright as any normal flames of equal size and intensity. It bares no heat and does not actually burn or consume anything. It's a useful distraction and can appear anywhere within twenty feet of Ai; it's cast by line of sight, Ai's aim not withstanding.
Greater Fox Fire- Unlike the lesser flames, which are illusionary and harmless; greater fox fire consists of actual tongues of flame. Completely harmless to Ai, but not so to her clothes. Greater fox fire is both bright and hot, burning with twice the brightness and heat of a fire of equal size and intensity, yet it consumes its fuel as slowly as a normal fire. It is a magical flame and as such, once lit, it cannot be put out by merely pour water or earth upon it. Unlike true fire, it does not burn up oxygen so smothering the flames is useless. Providing its own heat, pouring water on the mystical flames will not douse them. These magical flames will only go out after they have burned all their fuel, their creator bids them extinguished, or they are put out by magical means. Cast by line of sight up to 10ft away, greater fox fire requires some manner of combustable fuel to exist.
Weaknesses:
Inexperience- Despite all her natural power, Ai has had no one to teach her how to effectively use it, or even teach her what she's capable of or of what it means to be a demon. As such, Ai will often unknowingly deals with things that would normally cause a great deal of concern to most demons.
Salt- purified or blessed salt is known to repel demons and be used in circles to either contain them or fend them off.
Holy Water- Sanctified or blessed water is known to burn demons much like what a highly corrosive acid or lye does to the skin.
Iron- Only forged or wrought iron will do. It burns the flesh of demons. Note also that the colder the metal is, the more effective a weapon it is against demons. The wounds caused iron weapons heal very slowly, at only a quarter the rate that normal humans heal at. These wounds will also resist magical healing, restorative spells being only half as effective as they would be had the wounds been caused anything other than iron.
Lamb's Blood- painted onto window sills, on door frames, or around fireplaces will deny a demon entrance through that way.
Water/Ice/Earth Magic- Being attuned to fire and wind, Ai is particularly vulnerable to magiks of an opposing nature. However, Ai's fun loving nature and inexperience means she has no idea how much her powers are diminished while she is enjoying a swim, out in a snow ball fight.
Holy Symbols- By themselves, an cross or ahnk is harmless, unless in the hands of someone presenting it who has genuine faith and conviction. The stronger the persons spiritual faith, the more effective the symbol is at fending off the demons and the effects of their unholy powers. A demon cannot advance towards someone of strong faith who bears a holy symbol directly at them. Such symbols will burn an ignite a demon's flesh when in the hands of the faithful. Otherwise, a holy symbol standing alone or born by an unbeliever is merely an annoying distraction.
Talismans- Again, by themselves useless unless made by someone with a good degree of spiritual or magical power. Placed on entryways, the can stop a demon from opening a door or window. If used to surround a demon from all sides, the unholy creature may be contained. If a talisman or seal is placed directly upon a demon, that demon is rendered paralyzed or bound.
Summoning- As a nine tailed fox, Ai may be summoned through the use of a magic circle. While powerless within, if the circle is broken or disturbed from the outside, the demon with in is released. While summoned and contained, it may be possible to enter into a contract with the demon. The terms of which shall be followed to the letter. Again however, Ai is rather ignorant of her own nature and will most likely be very confused and not sure why anyone would want to negotiate a contract with her like that.
True Name- As with any powerful demon, knowledge of their true name gives an individual great power over that demon, able to control the demon and bend them to their will. Knowing the true name of a demon is also necessary to perform an excorsism and cast the demon out from anyone they possess. However, it is not known what name Ai's birth parents gave her or even if they did for that matter. The only people who might have an idea are the heroes who brought Ai to the village those many years ago.

Ai is currently ignorant of vore other than as a fox eating small animals. Which is currently the only way she understands how she would be a predator. As prey, despite being immortal Ai is going to be very unwilling; after all, she has never died before and presumes it would be rather painful. She is looking for people to study under and learn the ways of magic and how to control her various powers.
