Ailinn is...well, she's most definitely NOT from around here, that's for sure! She is, in fact, an alien, from a very-distant planet.
Her basic build is almost that of the typical naga/lamia...a humanoid body, tapering into a long, strong tail. She's a little over 30 feet long, and most of that is tail.
The similarities to a normal naga end there, though. For starters, her head is more bestial, with short, pointed ears. In fact, it somewhat resembles the head of an anthropomorphized ferret. Her eyes are all black, and she always has an inquisitive, curious look on her face.
Her neck is rather long, too...a bit longer than the rest of her torso, in fact. She also doesn't widen drastically at the shoulders like 'normal' nagas. Rather, her neck gradually widens near the base, until her shoulders barely stick out at all. In fact, her body doesn't really widen drastically anywhere. Her waist is slimmer than the rest of her body, yes, but the transition is very gradual, giving her a very slinky look.
Ailinn also has four breasts, perched in the usual spot, one pair above the other. The top pair is a bit larger than the bottom, but neither are particularly 'big'...at least by the standards of this chat.
Her body is quite furry, with somewhat rough, bristly fur...again, like that of a ferret. The fur is beige, with a stripe of longer, black fur running down her spine. The fur is particularly long on her head, and ending a few feet below where her hips would be, giving her something of a 'mohawk'. The last foot and a half or so of her tail is also black, but the fur is as short as the 'main' fur.
She's not ENTIRELY furry, though; her entire underbelly, from chin to tailtip, consists of broad, pale scales...like those on the belly of a snake. The serpentine appearance isn't limited to the scales, either; she also has the typical long, forked tongue. Her teeth still resemble those of a ferret, but they're capable of injecting a toxin that sends prey into an almost blissful, euphoric state, making them too relaxed to fight. She's also, of course, quite capable of unhinging her jaws...
Ailinn's species isn't exactly technologically advanced; they find that their own fangs, muscles and stomachs are more than enough to help them survive. That isn't to say they're unintelligent; quite the opposite in fact. They are *very* fast learners, able to pick up concepts in weeks, or even days, that other species can take years to learn (all in Earth-time, of course).
How'd she arrive on Earth, if her species doesn't have the technology for it? Well, it wasn't HER idea. Quite literally, a wizard did it; a mage practicing spells accidentally opened a rift, and she came through. Of course, she then promptly devoured said mage; after all, he'd nabbed her while she was chasing lunch!
Ailinn's species are loners, and thus aren't really the type to get homesick, so she wasn't too broken up to find herself trapped on Earth. In fact, she was quite curious; so many odd creatures, of all shapes and sizes! The sheer number of unfamiliar species sparked her curiosity...and her appetite. In an odd coincidence, she's found that one of her favorite Earth-snacks are ferrets...anthro, non-anthro, whatever!
