Not quite done with the profile. I'd love to add more, but I'm not quite sure what to include at this point.
Architecture is an art as old as buildings themselves. As soon as stones were stacked on top of each other, people have been competing to make their tower of rocks look better than everybody else's. A competition through history, never ceasing to amaze, shock and inspire the hearts and minds of people who look upon the wondrous structures birthed from the minds of engineering geniuses.
This is where Aliana comes in. She is but one of many who take up the arms, choosing the mighty pencil and doing combat against paper, painting lines and designs for people to use when building. Yes, Aliana lucked out! Instead of designing the piping and wire plans of a building, she's one of the few people who actually designs these places, and is always looking for inspiration for bigger, better ideas. She works for a fairly small company, Barker & Sons. Sounds more like a bank or a lawyer firm, really. She said that twelve years ago when she was interviewed for the job, and it was one of the happiest days in her life when she was able to do what she loved as her career.
She even designed her own home. It's a wonderful two story place with many acres of free, open land surrounding it. She incorporated modern design with a ranch feel, using large glass windows and sleek appliances with more rustic feeling walls and structure. She's got an in-ground pool in her back yard, and a large garden off to the side.
Speaking of, drawing houses isn't the only thing she loves. Gardening is another love of her life, and is where she starts to get interesting. She tends to many exotic and rare plants mixed with the usual variety. Roses, tulips and lilies, along with dangerous plants. She's got more than a few plants that would be happy to swallow a man whole should they get too close. These are her babies, and she takes care of them like any other family would a loyal dog.
In return, there's one plant in particular that rewards her for her efforts. Aside from the fruit bearing vines and trees she has growing, she has one plant she obtained from one of those trinket shops. The kind of shop you've never seen before even though you walk down that road every day. The kind of shop that when something you buy from it breaks or goes horribly wrong, isn't there anymore when you try to return your purchase. Yes, this is one of those strange, magical plants. Should Aliana meet an untimely end, usually in the belly of some brave predator, she will be reborn inside of it. She'll grow inside of it over the course of a day, and be thrust back into the world anew, naked and with her memory intact.
She now has a pet! The_Rainbow_Dash is currently her little sex toy, and possibly a future lover.
