Alicia_Archus

Basic Info
Name: Alicia Archus
Age: 26
Occupation: Paladin commander
Height: 6' 1"
Weight: 168 lbs

Likes: Protecting people, sweets, training

Dislikes: Intentionally cruel people, being forced to watch those she cares for get hurt, anything sour tasting or smelling, the beach.

Personality: On first impressions, her expression generally seems cold, bored. She rose quickly through the ranks of the Paladins, and as such, has grown bored with the political affairs that comes with her new position, especially given the fact that the majority of those she deals with lie through their teeth.

She is blunt, never hesitating to tell a person what she thinks of them. While these traits do make her hard to get to know, once she accepts you as a friend, it'll be hard to get rid of her.

She is stoutly devoted to keeping any and all she considers close to her protected at all costs, even going so far as to taking arrows in the chest for new recruits into her order.

She does have one horrible secret that she tries her best to take to her grave with her, and that would be her massive sweet tooth. It almost pains her to turn away from anything with even the slightest hint of sugar in it. When she's not attending some ridiculous party to garner favor with nobles or out leading her men in a charge against demons, she can normally be seen training. After all, have to make sure she doesn't get any excess fat from the sweets.

Middle of the beginning

The circular training room of the paladin order rang out with the sounds of metal clashing on metal. The stone floor was chipped and cracked by the numerous spars that had gone on in this very hall numerous times before, but this time was different.

On one side stood the rather happy go lucky, brown eyed male, Owain, freshly promoted from Squire to full fledged paladin. He wore a simple black tank top and shorts, a training attire. In his hand was a dulled long sword, left here for this very purpose. For two people to test their strengths against each other without hurting one another. Well, mostly. The welts on his side and chest told a different story, but at least he hadn't been cut.

His sword bounced haphazardly against the small shield his sparing partner wore on her left wrist. Her grey eyes blazed as she saw her opening, pale hair spreading behind her as she made a swift, decisive movement. The tip of her spear scraped the ground, before she suddenly twisted her entire body, sniping to strike Owain with the shaft of her spear, grinning as he went tumbling to the ground.

She looked down at the boy she had been a squire with only a few weeks ago. She held out her hand, breathing hard. They had been at this for hours, the cropped tank top she used to train in clung to her chest like a second skin from the sweat, beads of the salty liquid left trails down her skin, making her stomach glisten in the torch light. This had never been about training, or seeing who was stronger, it was about forgetting what they had been through. "Stop going easy on me." Alicia mumbled, seconds before getting pulled to the ground by her fallen partner.

Owain smiled, even as she shot him a distasteful look. "Stop being so serious all the time," He said, poking at her stomach with a finger. She wiggled slightly away, a far off look on her face. She did that more often than Owain liked now. He knew why too. Alicia held her left arm, sighing softly. "We need to be serious all the time Owain. It's when people are goofing off that others get hurt, or worse." The two fell into an uneasy silence, before Owain started making faces, cracking a joke or two. Alicia couldn't help it, he always knew how to cheer her up, at least a bit. "Moron," She mumbled, leaning over to lightly push his shoulder, a faint laugh on her lips.

"So, what's their story?" Said a soft spoken older male standing in the training room doorway. He was a noble, one of the ones that helped back this order, gave them money so they could keep operating. Another male stood next to him, adorned in pristine white armor with gold trim, a flowing red mantle finishing his look. "The two youngest paladins in history, and for good reason. They survived something I'm not even sure some of my senior fighters could manage." The commander turned, signaling for the noble to follow. Only now did the noble notice just how tired the commander looked. "If you really want to know, I'll tell you on our way to the meeting why they were promoted so young."

A squire's life for me
Two gloved hands smacked down onto the oak desk of the Paladin recruiter. The bored looking male followed the hands up the slim arms, much too small to hold any real power in them. He shook his head and continued to look over the fuming girl once more. "What the hell do you mean, no?" She asked anger in her shining, crystal blue eyes, one hand coming up to move a lock of hair back behind her ear.

The tired man sighed, sitting back in his wooden chair, a slight wince as the chair creaked with the movement. "Look, no offense, but we've never allowed women into the order before. If we were ever to let a woman in, it would have to be the commander's call, not mine."

Alicia's eyes softened a bit as she stood back up straight, gently biting on her bottom lip. She couldn't just leave now, not after she had come so far, just left her family's manor, stating she was going to become a paladin without so much as her parent's approval. She had shown up all the other recruits, single handedly taking out all the boys there. Her skin still crawled at the few that had barely even fought back, just complimenting her appearance.

She turned, staring steadily at each boy who was nursing various welts on their body. "I'd say, I'm the best option you all have at this point. All these guys look about ready to crawl home to their mothers." Her left eyebrow rose as a sandy haired male stood back up, his left arm holding his side and a sword held in a lose grip in his right hand. He looked like he could barely stand, but there was a fire of determination in his eyes.

He ran at her, a howl ripping from his mouth. They crashed together, skidding across the floor, his sword pressed at her throat. The recruiter made to stand, to stop this. He was turning her down for this very reason, what would their public image be if a woman was killed while fighting in their ranks? A hand on his shoulder stopped him though, causing him to look up, only to see the platemail covered Paladin commander. "Let this play out. I wish to see how she handles herself." The recruiter gulped but nodded. He was the commander after all, if he was sure, he would obey.

"Do it," Alicia mumbled, steely eyes looking up at the point who was holding a sword to her throat. The brown eyes of the male wavered. He'd only wanted to put her in her place, not kill her. He let up just enough for her to gain the upper hand. She pushed against his chest, knocking him up into the air and only to come crashing back to the stone floor with a thud. His sword skittered away and he laid gasping for breath as Alicia stood back up, standing over him with her arms crossed. "That's how you die. Showing an enemy mercy. The Paladin's aren't for glory hounds that just want the name. Be prepared to kill, or be killed yourself."

She looked down at the still gasping boy, finally seeing something in his eyes that had long since left her own. Innocence. She sighed, offering him her hand. "I'm Alicia Archus, you?" The boy looked at her hand, puzzled as to why she was helping him up, but he finally took it. "Owain."

"Let her in," Those words were all it took to seal Alicia's fate. She was made a squire on the spot, as well as the others that had been itching to join. Alicia had single handedly proved that she was someone to beat, and someone to fear.

A year passed, the new squire's learning all they needed to learn to be Paladins. Their years of study would have gone on longer, had it not been for a single routine check up on a neighboring town to the training grounds.

Poison and ash

"What are we doing out here again? I thought today was supposed to be a free training day?" Ask one of the squires, causing everyone else to nod their head in agreement. The active Paladin on duty swung his horse around, pointing his sword off in the distance. "There is a town just a little further that way. This is just a routine check to make sure no bandits or anything are attacking them. Now, do we have any other stupid questions?"

When he was met with a rousing call of silence, he set his horse in motion again, waving all six of the squires to follow along behind. A little to the side of the rest of the group, Alicia and Owain, two of the most unlikely of friends rode side by side. He glanced to the side, seeing his female friend's normally calm demeanor to be broken, leaving her looking tense, and almost, scared? He waved at her, breaking her from her trance of thoughts. "O-oh, what is it?"

He shook his head, a soft sigh breaking the silent few moments. "You seem...distracted. Something up?" He had to choose his words carefully, he knew that if he said the wrong thing, she'd just clam up. He waited a few seconds, about to start talking again when her soft voice cut into his words.

"We are heading to my home town, and I know Knight Paladin Laurant said it's just a routine scouting mission. I dunno, something just feels...off. Like, someone reached in and twisted my insides into a knot." Owain shook his head lightly, "Geeze, look at you. It's like all that steely determination you always have is just gone." Alicia shivered, looking off toward where she knew her home was, she could just make out smoke on the horizon.

As they road, the sun set in the sky, but the closer they got to their destination, the lighter the night sky seemed to turn. "This isn't right," Alicia mumbled, seconds before pushing her hose to speed up, catching up with her captain. "Sir, I think something is wrong. I think the town might be on fire." Their leader for this operation looked at her, eyebrow risen. "And what makes you think this? Just because the sky is a tab bit lighter tonight than normal, doesn't mean there is a fire. Get back with the others."

She debating half a second, just long enough to decide he was ultimately wrong and whisper a solid no before speeding off. She heard the shouts of the officer and the squires, but she didn't care. She had become a Paladin to protect the people of the world. What could would she be if she couldn't protect her home?

With how fast she pushed her horse, she cleared the remaining distance to the town, making the horse slide to a stop as she witnessed the carnage. Her home was a blaze, houses burning, women and children screaming in pain and confusion. She grit her teeth, forcing herself to ignore what was happening, this could be fixed, the bandits needed to be dealt with first though.

She hopped off her horse, not even concerned that it took off back the other way. She slid her sword out of it's scabbard, tossing it a few times to test the weight of her 'training' sword. It was heavy, heavier than she should probably be swinging, she'd have to rely on quick jabs. She slid her shield onto her left arm and set off, one bandit in sight already.

He was dragging a woman out of her burning house by her hair, kicking and screaming the entire time. "Mrs Milla." She called, just before she jumped onto the bandit's back and jabbed the sword through the back of his throat, once, twice, and then the third time he fell with a few raspy gargling noises, warm blood bubbling out around her sword. She pulled it free and stepped off his body, ignoring the terrified woman's sobs, she'd calm down soon. Alicia turned the man's body over, her eyes going wide at the sight. This wasn't a bandit...

The local baker, and the husband of the woman she'd just saved. This didn't make any sense, he was a good man, he had given her loaves of bread to share with friends when they were out playing. Why would he attack his own home. The rest of the scouting squad pulled up now, glancing at the destruction. "D-don't kill them." She shouted over the roaring flames at her officer, tears pricking at her eyes that she refused to let fall. "T-these are the towns people. I don't know what's going on, but I'm sure my father does. I'm gonna go find out." She turned and ran down the familiar streets to her family manor, closing her eyes as she passed further scenes of wonton carnage.

She clicked her tongue, the blacksmith was stood in front of the steps up to her family's manor. He had already spotted her, she could never take a full grown man in a fair fight, she knew that. She quickly loosened the straps that kept her shield on her arm, and as she ran, flung it right at his face. He didn't even react though, just allowed it to strike him in the face. It splintered with the force, finally causing the male to cry out and reach for his eyes. Alicia took the moment to rush past him, making two quick strikes to the back of his legs as she rolled past. "I'm sorry," She mumbled, before running up the steps.

The first thing she noticed when she slid into the entryway hall way as her father's spear, just left dropped on the floor. Icy dread formed a pit in her stomach. He would never leave this behind if he knew mother was in danger, was he dead already? She shook her head, no, she couldn't think that. She picked up the lightweight spear, holding the golden hilt in her left hand. The spear tip gleamed dangerously as she moved about the manor, looking for any number of foes. She finally found who she was looking for, but she wished she hadn't.

The now spear toting girl pushed open the door to the sitting room, sickening crunches and slurps coming from the inside. She steeled her resolve and stepped inside, finding her father crouched on the floor over top another body. Another figure stood off to the side, she looked almost human at first glance, but her skin was too pristine and almost seemed to reflect the light, unnatural darkness hanging around her. Leathery looking purple wings extended from her back, a black tail with a spaded end and curling horns atop her shaggy purple hair, golden eyes and pointed ears like an elf completed the look. "Oh, an intruder?" The demon asked, her voice ringing with multiple echos.

Alicia ignored the demon, it was best not to talk to them, just kill them, she had been taught. She took a hesitant step forward, left hand held out. "D-dad? Dad, it's me. C-come over here and tell me what's going on." The demon woman looked from Alicia to her hunched over father, before grinning a wide, feral grin.

"Oh, deary, he's not the man you remember. He's my puppet now, like all the men of this little human hovel." Alicia shot a glare at the demon, but took another step forward. However, she bumped into a side table, knocking over a goblet, which caused her father to look up, and rip a scream from the now terrified girl.

The sight that greeted her was horrid. Her father's face was covered in blood, a piece of flesh hanging from his mouth before he gulped it down with a wet swallow. The body he had been hunched over with horribly mangled, her chest and stomach torn open by what looked like claws and teeth, but the face was still untouched. The cold, lifeless eyes of her mother greeted her, and all she could do was scream.

"Oh, my sweet, could you be a good boy and dispose of the trash that has invaded our home." The demon commanded, and without a word, Alicia's father shambled towards where she'd fallen. The world seemed like it was moving in slow motion as she watched her bloodied father take step after step towards her. Her eyes were wide, mind still digesting what she had seen in her own home, this was impossible. Her father lunged, his shadow falling over her...

"Alicia!" Owain's voice brought her back to what was going on, her hand snapping up, putting the spear between her and her father. He landed with a heavy thud, the spear punching right through his chest with the force of his leap. Owain allowed himself to breath a sigh of relief, before his attention was brought to new movement in the room. The shine of a midnight black tail tip, looking much like a spear, coming for him.

Alicia didn't even think about what she did next, she rolled out from her father and bound to her feet, mustering the last of her strength to dash towards her friend and push him out of the way. The next thing she knew was a blinding pain in her left arm, and then, nothing. No pain, just sickening cold.

Owain dropped to the floor, grabbing his bleeding friend. He wasn't sure what to do, she had pushed him out of the way, saved his life, but at what cost? He looked to the side of them, where her left arm had flown when it had been severed from her body. She was bleeding, way too much. He held her closer, "No, no, no, you can't die. There is so much we have to do, have to tell each other."

"Foolish human, why would you put yourself in pain for him? You are obviously strong, a survivor. I could use you, sitting by my side when I take over this world, but look at you now. Shaking, lost your arm, probably going to bleed to death, but that could take a while and be messy. I'll just put you both out of your misery."

Alicia let out a cough, staring down the demon with bloodshot but defiant eyes, her right hand clutching Owain's sword as the last defense between them and the demon. "I...I won't let you hurt...the one...my friend." She coughed again, her vision fading as the demon laughed, her tail surging out again. The last thing Alicia saw before her vision went black was a brilliantly white light, and she felt her body heat up once more, and the sound of sizzling flesh and the scream of a demon lord.

Innocence lost, innocence protected
"Her condition is stable, at least we got the bleeding under control." "Come on son, you haven't slept in a bed since we brought her back." "I'm not leaving till she wakes up."

Bits and pieces of conversation slipped into Alicia's awareness as she slept. She felt like she was in a fog, able to here those flitting about the room she was in, but completely unable to wake up, to put them at ease. After all, she was fine, right?

"You're dying," A soft voice said, the world she was in suddenly exploding into light. She was standing on a platform that looked to be made of stained glass. She could see nothing outside the edges of her platform, just an endless sea of blackness. She turned again, her eyes finally falling on a person standing in the middle of the platform, or rather, the outline of a person. They seemed to be made of a radiant brilliance, a beacon of light in this place of utter darkness.

"You are dying, Alicia." The voice said again, obviously coming from this person, or being of light. She took a step forward, swinging her left arm out. "What do you mean? What's killing me?"

The being's face broke into a smile, an almost chilling look on the other wise featureless thing. "Do you not remember? Let me give you a reminder." The being's feather-soft voice said in her head, one of it's arms pointing at her left one. She watched in mild shock as her left arm vanished, seeming to just melt away into the darkness. "W-what?"

"That demon took away your left arm, but that's not all she did. Demons, you see, have this way of getting their taint into the things they touch. An icy cold poison that kills all it can get it's grip on. Even as we speak, that poison is killing you."

Alicia felt a spike of dread in her chest, or maybe it was the poison, she couldn't be sure. This was how she died then? Not the heroic death on the battlefield that she'd envisioned, that's for sure. She sighed lightly, much to the mirth of the creature talking to her it would seem.

The chuckling in her mind stopped finally, allowing it to speak once more. "Now now, I'm telling you this because I have an offer for you. You see, I'm a spirit of protection, I've been with you since you were born. You have a great fate in front of you. However, in saving you from that demon's second attack, I used up nearly all of my energy." Alicia tilted her head to the side, looking the thing over again. "I can save you, and allow myself to start collecting new energy. I do have to warn you though, it will...change you. As host to my energy, I'll need a suitable place to recover my strength in."

Alicia may have been only fifteen, but she picked up on what the thing was saying already. It held up it's hand though, as if saying, don't answer yet. "The changes first. I'll be able to use a tiny bit of power to allow you to have your left arm again, as well as a little something extra. After all, I know you humans have your urges, and I'd rather not have my resting place disturbed by you mating or whatever you call it."

Alicia actually turned a bright red, crossing her right arm over her chest, "L-like I would ever do that." The being's smile only got wider, "Oh, not even with your friend you saved, what was his name again?"

Alicia waved her hands in the air, "Stop, stop." The paladin hopeful took a few moments to catch her breath, thinking this over in her mind. On one hand, she was dying, but in order to survive, she'd have to play host to a being that she honestly didn't know much of anything about, other than it calling itself a protective spirit or something. "I-if I were to agree to this, how long would you...be in me?" She asked, her voice trailing off quietly at the last part. The being of light simply shrugged, or at least it looked like a shrug. "As long as it takes to regain the power I used protecting you. So, yes or no?"

Alicia stepped from foot to foot, her eyes shinning lightly. She didn't overly want to die yet, but was it really worth going this far? "F-fine," She said softly, her eyes dropping to the floor as the thing glided over to her. "You've made a wise choice," it said, before vanishing into her body. She was filled with a heat unlike anything she had even felt before, and then, nothing.

Her eyes slowly cracked open, squinting in the bright, mid day sun that shown through the window in her room. She blinked, yes, this was her room back at the Paladin's headquarters, but why was she here, shouldn't they have gone back to the squire's training grounds? She sat up in her bed, her left hand coming up to brush the hair out of her eyes. Wait, her left hand? She blinked, looking curiously at her new hand and arm. Pure white light, like the being in her dream just now, unless...

Her train of thought was derailed as she jumped out of her bed and stripped out of the night clothes she had been put into. Sure enough, there it was. She had grown a penis, and had a pair of balls hanging under them too. She turned left and right, inspecting herself in the mirror, a light blush on her cheeks. "I...I wonder how it feels to..." Her bout of curiosity was brought to a shattering halt as the sound of moving clothes was heard, and then a sharp intake of breath. She half turned to see Owain sitting there, his eyes fixated, not on the new growth her right had was investigating, but on her left arm. "Y-your arm...how?" Alicia panicked, waving both her arms in front of her face with no thought of modesty. "I...I can explain."

Talks of the present

"Geeze, did you have to hit me so hard Alicia? I've got welts and bruises all over my body." The two friends had since left the training hall. It had been a lot of news to take in, for the both of them. Already given official ranks as Paladins, Alicia's arm and other changes. So, when the female paladin had suggested a sparing session, the boy had all too readily agreed. He almost wished her hadn't.

Alicia giggled slightly, before holding her left hand up towards the sky. They had gone up to the roof of the manor like building the Paladins used as a headquarters. She had kept an armor sleeve on her left had while they had their sparing match, she had already accidentally burnt herself with it when she had been freaking out about him seeing her new additions to her body and didn't want to burn him too, she'd have to figure out how to control this thing at some point. Now though, it was bare once more, allowing them both to stare at the construct of light.

"Each and every one of those are for a time I caught you looking at my crotch." Alicia pointed out, bringing her hand back down onto her stomach. She heard him mumble something about if she didn't wear such tight shorts, but she shrugged it off. The two fell into silence after that, Alicia just enjoying her friend's company.

She of course didn't know of the internal struggle he was currently having. "Do you resent me?" Owain finally asked, breaking Alicia out of her thoughts. "About your arm? If I hadn't been there, or if you hadn't jumped up to protect me, you'd still be....normal."

Alicia sighed, standing up and then climbing onto the railing, the only thing keeping them from falling off the top of the building. "Owain, look at me. I came to the Paladin's with one wish in mind. I joined because I wanted to help people, to keep the weak, the innocent, and just anyone I can safe. You though, you are special. I look at you, look into your eyes, and I see the innocence I lost so long ago." He opened his mouth to speak, but his words were lost to him as she jumped back down to the roof, both hands cupping his cheeks, and she kissed him, lightly.

"So, no. I don't resent you. I'd do it a thousand times over if it meant keeping you just as you are now. Not willing to take a life. There...is no hope for me, the light in my eyes went out that night, but I will never allow you to go through the pain I have." She said nothing else, leaving him there with his thoughts for the rest of the night.

Pushed to breaking
The years passed, the two friends growing closer and closer, and stronger. Alicia got control over her new body and powers, eventually being able to figure out how to produce the dome of light her 'passenger' had used to protect her and Owain that fateful night. Due to this ability, she had gained the nickname of the Golden Aegis, which really did suit her all things considered.

The two of them quickly rose through the ranks of the Paladin's in five short years. Owain nearly perfecting his swordsmanship and his duties as a commanding officer now. Alicia declined to take over command of her own squad, instead choosing to stay by Owain's side as his personal bodyguard. While the commander had been confused at first, he allowed the unorthodox promotion, after all, she only seemed to be friendly with Owain regardless, splitting them up in hindsight seemed like a rather bad idea.

In the end though, death comes for everyone, even two inseparable best friends. The two were called out for an 'important errand' that was literally all that was on the slip of paper given to Owain by the commander's second in command. "Don't you think this is weird Owain? Being summoned to some random tract of land miles away from home, for some clandestine meeting? Why couldn't this be done back at headquarters?"

Owain shrugged, pushing his horse just a bit faster. "Well, lets hurry this up at least, I wanna make it back in time for dinner." Alicia snorted gently, but pushed her own horse once more, her father's spear gently bouncing against her back as they rode.

They finally reached the designated meeting spot, the two Paladin officers jumped off their horses and strode over to the commander, till they noticed a figure behind him. The hairs on the back of Alicia's neck stood on end as she recognized the demon nearly instantly. Everything happened so fast, the demon's tail rocketed towards the two, Alicia's left had rose up, forming the golden barrier she got her nickname for, "Heh, nothing else I'd expect from the Golden Aegis of the Paladin order," The demon drawled, all while the commander just watched. "It's too bad you can't block this."

Alicia's eyes went wide as the ground under them opened up, the both of them falling towards the bottomless black abyss. The demon let out a laugh. "Ah, finally, two more for my collection. This is why you don't challenge a demon lord, you pathetic...wait, why haven't I felt them pass into my domain?"

Within the chasm, the two hung on for dear life. Alicia had pulled out her spear and dug it into the side of the earth, her left hand help tightly to Owain's hand. "J-just, hold on Owain. I'll get us out of here." She called out, trying her best to climb up with Owain in tow.

"Alicia, hey...listen to me." Even as Owain spoke, she just keep trying to pull them up. "Will you stop and listen to me for two seconds? You can't pull both of us up, and lets face it, I've been holding you back all these years. If it weren't for you trying to protect me, you'd be commander by now I bet." Alicia froze in her attempts to get back up, her eyes watering as she looked down at Owain. "No, don't you dare. We'll both survive, we have to. We've lived through so much already, this is nothing."

Owain shook his head, a sad smile on his face. "Alicia, I love you, but you need to spread your wings and fly, instead of letting me ground you. Good bye." He didn't let her respond, just reached up with his other hand and pried her grip off, letting his body fall into the abyss below them.

Alicia was shocked, tears falling freely down her cheeks for the first time in years. "No, no. Why? I could have...could have saved us both. You idiot, jerk, asshole. Saying stuff like that and then just dropping. What the hell?" Her voice quivered, her left hand glowed hotter, starting to melt the armor of her gauntlet.

The demon blinked as the first of Alicia's hand came back over the chasm she had ripped open, "No...there is simply no way. Ugh, you," She pointed at the commander, "Go and...wait, I have a better plan." She mumbled, before ripping open a portal and pulling out her newest puppet. "Now, Owain, go be a dear and kill that thorn in my side. I know I'll never be able to take over the world if she's still bugging me."

Her body rolled and jumped back to her feet the second Alicia hit stable ground again, her eyes set in a determined glance. She could only see one thing, the demon that had taken everything she loved from her, and the demon's puppets. The controlled Owain charged her, the same sloppy footwork she'd always been able to beat. She didn't move, just caught his sword in her left hand. "How disgraceful. You have to invoke the image of a dead man to try and get the upper hand against me." She tossed his sword away, before stabbing her spear through his chest, leaving the demon in, quite frankly, shock. "W-what? Y-you killed the man you protected so many years ago?"

Alicia kicked the lifeless body off her spear blade. "No," She answered coldly, stalking towards the demon and the commander. "You killed him. That was a lifeless puppet with a face of someone I cared for, that, was a mistake. I wanted you dead before, now I want you to suffer."

Alicia charged the two, not surprised when the commander started to rush her too. Their weapons clashed, his bouncing off her spear and then coming back down on her left arm. She took half a step back, her eyes wild. "Tell me commander, how lucky of a man are you?"

His glazed eyes looked at her, his head tilted to the side as if in confusion. "Well, I would say, you'd pretty damn unlucky." She rushed him again, ducking his sword swipe. Her left arm reformed, slamming into his gut and melting his armor nearly instantly. She then speared her weapon through the new hole and then kicked him away.

"And then there was one," She mumbled, stalking towards the demon. The demon lord took a step back for each step towards her Alicia took. "I...I don't understand. He was your commanding officer. Why didn't you obey him? What is your loyalty as a human?"

Alicia smiled then, a chilling recreation of the smile she had seen on the faceless being in her dream so long ago. "It's funny, I've got plenty of soul, I guess I just don't make a very good solider." She kept walking closer and closer, steam coming off her brightly lit arm. Normally it was just a soft brilliance, but right now, it was like a raging inferno. Her own body could feel the heat, her left side blistering, skin darkening. It would be worth it though.

The demon made to run for it, but Alicia had closed the distance in a blink, her left hand grasping at the demon's face. "Tell me, how does it feel for the liquid in your eyes to be burning. If it half as bad as the feeling of seeing my parents turned against each other, my father eating my own mother?"

Her grin only deepened as the demon screamed, the flesh on her face melting away, her body writhing in agony. "Or, better yet, does it feel like the utter hopelessness of watching my absolute best friend fall to his death, agony gripping you as you can't do anything to save him, huh? Tell me demon, does it even come close to the pain you've caused me?" Her eyes were wild, a mix of delight and utter torment.

Once the demon's movements slowed, she tossed the aching body back to the ground. "Now, when I'm through with you, I'm going to hunt down each and everyone of your kin and kill them just as slowly as I am you, and then I will hunt down and wipe out every demon in existence. Your kind is a scum, a blight that needs to be wiped out." She stopped talking, looking closer at the demon's face. Was she...healing?

The demon glared up at Alicia, at least she thought she did, her face was still pretty much a charred mess, so she wasn't completely sure. "M-my kin will devour your soul. You don't know what you are getting into yet girl. You are nothing, an insignificant worm!"

Alicia sighed, her eyes suddenly changing from the almost sadistic look to a dead, ice bored look. "Let them come and try then." She turned on her heels, walking away from the cackling demon. "Reverse Aegis." A golden bubble of energy formed around the healing demon, before it converged in, a sicking crunch the only sound in the air. Alicia managed to take two more steps, before her energy gave out completely and she collapsed.

Endgame

It had only been a few weeks since then, since she had lost her cool, lost the last thing that kept her grounded to this world. She looked in the mirror at her tired self, wincing as one of the maids dressing her brushed against her left side.

"S-sorry M'lord, I won't do it again." Alicia shook her head though, "No, no. You are fine. I did this to myself after all, have to deal with it." She stood pretty much straight faced as they finished dressing her. It was weird, she had killed the last commander, and now here she was, getting ready to take his place as the next head of the Paladins. It was like she was in a dream.

"No cape," She said softly, seeing the mirror one maid bringing it over. "Ah, as you wish." Alicia sighed, she'd probably never get used to this, she had never wanted this much power, and yet, here she was, about to give a speech to her fellow Paladins. "Alright, it's now or never I suppose." She mumbled, giving her armor a once over before striding out to the balcony overlooking the courtyard.

She looked down at all the Paladin's assembled out in the courtyard, stiener or whatever his name was beside her, introducing her as the new commander. Her eyes kept looking out over the crowd, for someone she knew she would never see again.

As the man beside her stopped talking, she cleared her throat. "The previous commander was a good man, someone I looked up to, but he was blind to a poison that is seeping into our world. It is that very poison that caused him and a very good man to die a few weeks ago."

She closed her eyes, taking a breath to center herself once more, "Demons are infesting our world, looking at us as nothing more than cattle to slaughter or make their playthings. Well not anymore." She slammed her fists on the railing, the metal warping slightly from the heat coming off her left hand.

"This is our world, and we need to fight to protect it. We need to find and exterminate every demon hiding in our world. I will be overseeing this project myself. It will be done, or I'll die trying." She paused, looking over the mass of people and how they would respond to her idea.

"I won't lie. This will be a dangerous task, a lot of us will die. If you haven't done all you want to do in this world, or if you have families that need you, you are more than welcome to leave now. I will not lead men into a fight that will tuck their tails between their legs and run, not from this fight. If you choose to stand with me, I expect nothing but the utmost bravery and strength." She stopped, seeing who would leave or bow out. It was a tense few minutes, but only a few left. "Good, then I'll have to believe that those still here will follow me to the end. Lets get started then."

OOC Info
Kinks and other preferences:

Okay, so, dislike doing sliders. Yada yada yada. So, I'm gonna have general kinks. Just a note, none of these are set in stone, have to be done in a roleplay, it's just stuff I enjoy. As long as there isn't massive amounts of blood/intense digestion scenes, I'm good with playing out a lot of stuff, just ask.

First off, this character isn't exactly built for vorish play on her part. She is mostly human, ignoring the heavenly being she plays host to. So, unless you are a micro, don't expect her to be swallowing you whole or anything. Also, the world she is portrayed in, no normal human would be able to swallow her whole, so unless there is a good reason why your character is stretchy, I more than likely won't agree to a same sized roleplay. However, any creature that isn't human, I'm willing to be a bit more flexible with in times of same size stuff.

Second, I adore building stories with my characters. Sure, quick little one off scenes can be fun when you just need a quickie, but it's so much more satisfying when you are actually building a world and relationships.

Now, on to actual kinks. Easily my biggest one is pregnancy. Oviposition is obviously included in that~

I am generally okay with vore of most types, the only ones I don't really understand are breast vore and vampiric vore. I mean, it's just drinking blood. Now, as to my preferred types of vore, those would have to be Cock vore and unbirth, but I'm fine with the tried and true Oral vore.

I love, love, love, Micro/Macro stuff, and I would adore it if you wanted to play out a scene where one of us shrinks. However, I am willing to play out same size oral vore, possibly other types of vore if I know you quite well. This is a mood dependent thing though.

I enjoy foot play as well. Gently rolling a micro between toes, giving or receiving a foot job, ect. If it's with feet, it's generally pretty enjoyable~

As for genders, it's on a case by case basis. I'm way more likely to play with females, herms, and traps/feminine looking males.

Species: I greatly prefer humans, demis, and various monstergirls.

Some of the monstergirl's I have a particular affinity for are Harpies, Sluggirls, Lamias/nagas, Dridders, and kitsune. Anything with tentacles is also adored for a multitude of reasons~

I honestly have yet to find a furry character I like the look of at all, and any type of pony will go a no. I'm sorry but these are my preferences. If you don't like it, there is the door.

Pregnancy dice minigame, to add a little randomness:
You or I will simply roll a 20 sided dice.

If it comes up one through ten, then it's a miss.

If the result is eleven through nineteen, There will be a new bundle of joy on the way.

And if you manage to hit a twenty, then you'll be the proud parent of two bouncing babies~

Of course, you can always opt to try for more with a roll of twenty. If you opt for a second dice roll, then you roll a six sided dice.

1 gets you a critical failure, resulting in the seed being rejected.

2-4 is still just twins

5 means you get three babies!

If you manage to roll a 6, she'll be popping out four little monsters, crazy!
