Alister had traveled far and wide facing many creatures that would kill with just a stare. Though deep down he knew that he had heard tales of a girl that would give people gruesome but interesting ends. He of course didn't believe in this but found the girl nonetheless, her name was Faylin! When he approached her she gladly smothered him to death with her smelly end and then ate him with it, leaving him nothing but crap filled armor and a horrid tale to be passed along by a bard as his armor was put on display in his home town as the worst possible way to go.

Alister was a rather brash young individual who grew up in a rather boring kingdom that always seemed to be blessed with peace. He was raised outside the castle of yivenshire and his father was a black smith while his mother raised cattle. Alister was suppose to take over his fathers business and was raised to be the best black smith anyone had ever seen! Or so his father claimed, but at the age of sixteen Alister had an accident trying to make a sword for the king.

He discovered that he had magic! But he found this out at the most in appropriate moment. The magic coursed through his veins and into the weapon he was crafting causing the thing to come to life. This would not have been a problem if it were a just and kind personality but it was a rather rude and crude one instead.

The sword also seemed to be loud and annoying but it could only talk to the one wielding it. Kept referring to itself as the ender of the world and the greatest evil the planet has ever seen or some such...not that Alister was paying attention.

So he did the only thing he could and gave the sword to the king not knowing that the evil weapon would say terrible things about him. The king then was so shocked when he was presented with it that he banished both Alister and his evil weapon to the farthest reaches of the world!!!! So that is how he ended up in the park , just trying to find work slay evil and get rid of his damn cursed sword.
