She's not fully helpless, and I won't elaborate on the ideas here. If you wanna know, you got to ask her IC. Asking about this OOCily will get you a pie to the face, and on temporary ignore status. Probably till I log out that day knowing me.

Backstory: Ever since the day she was born, Alley has been bound in servitude, almost continually. Her first owner was a noble family with more money than they or their children could possibly spend in several lifetimes, thanks to the corruption of the local governments. Using some of the money they'd had, the mother bought Alley's mother a short time before she would give birth to the kitten, the mother herself as a gift for her son, who's money had failed to attract a girl of suitable birth to their family. She was a 'companion' of sorts, and if any public appearance was necessary, her ears were flattened down by her hair, causing her a slight amount of pain. Her tail was usually crammed down as tight as it could, and strapped to her leg to ensure that it wouldn't pop free at any point. There weren't too many public appearances during this time, since the slightest glimpse of something nonhuman would have landed them in a scandal the likes of which hadn't been seen in years.

During this time, Alley simply grew up learning to help, learning first to carry the non-breakable items to the servants that needed them, at least until she got old enough to be careful. She learned how to remain serious most of the time from all of the servants, unless she was sure she was alone with nobody but her family, a rare occurrence since her mother had to spend most of her nights in the bedroom of the noble's son. Her mother did her best to shield her from the uncomfortable truth of the matter, but the bruises on the usually more blocked out parts of her body gave enough evidence for her young mind to finally put two and two together. As much as she was upset by this though, she knew she couldn't do anything without risking further injury to her mother, and as time wore on, her desires for revenge were steadily washed away. Shortly after her eleventh birthday, the son managed to get himself seduced by a jealous countess, and considering the situation carefully, his family decided to give Alley's mother to the small soldier's barracks that was on the grounds.

Her mother was used as target practice for new weapons, the agile feline making it for several days before she was killed. The soldier's left her body in the field and told the servants to clean it up. The sight of her mother's torn body finally broke the last of her resistance, and left her fairly hopeless for a few years, at least until she was presented with an opportunity. The nobles were holding a party, something to do with a wedding as she understood it, and the collar that she was usually restrained with to keep her from leaving the grounds was replaced with a large ribbon. She took that chance to sneak out, and after a few days of surviving on her own, she found herself dwelling less on the past, and more on the future. During this time, she was completely free, until she made it to the park. This kitty just doesn't have any luck at all.



This kitty's spare time is mostly spent, not in games or technology or weapons, but reading and relaxing in weird positions. While she is quite the avid little reader, she's run out of books that she has not already read. And since the lady at the library discriminates against her due numerous problems, none of which are really the kittygirl's fault, she's not allowed to go there to get books. She did, however, find herself a large beanbag chair, which she uses often.


Thanks to the efforts of Joe the kittyboy, or Vorishartist for those who like links, Alley has attained the status of partial predator. She's actually good at most forms of predation, and uses them whenever she feels appropriate, but she's not likely to go out hunting anyone unless she knows they enjoy it. And even then, you'd have to be a very good friend. Thus, don't come in with a random scene and try to make her pred. I'll likely start ignoring you if you do. Something else that should probably be known, is that the kitty, despite her tendancies, is addicted to Joe in that special way. She's not going to be willing to smex anyone else but him. Feel free to cuddle though, as it is still her favorite past time.
