Almira

Almira is a part of the Speckled Sky.

If you grew up on gritty film noir movies from days gone by you could be forgiven for thinking that the private eye business is a dangerous one. They make it look like it's a life without any dull moments; full of gangsters, guns and damsels who wander into private eye offices by the bucketfuls.

Almira Angela Collins sometimes wonders why she doesn't have a life like that. She's a private investigator, so maybe she's been doing something wrong. Maybe it's because of the way people solicit her services? Sure, she doesn't have the money to rent a nice office, so Craigslist seems like an acceptable substitute, right? She tried to make it look as nice as possible, and her banner even reads 'NEED A SNOOP? I'M YOUR GIRL'. Maybe it's just the jobs she takes? Sure, investigating people brings in some good money, but there are only so many cheating spouses and ex-girlfriends she can stalk before it starts to get boring.

She makes a lot of money out of her little business. Okay, she doesn't have a license or anything like that, but it's not like the people who hire her need to know that. At the very least, it's a very good application of her photography skills. Still, she feels like something's still missing. She wants to go out and solve real crimes, goddammit, like those missing persons cases she hears about on the TV all the time. Seems like a little bit of her older sister rubbed off onto her. She always did talk about 'serving and protecting' and all that crap. Almira never really saw much of her sister since she left for the police academy. Last time she saw her, she was on the TV. She was apparently some big shot detective now.

Anyways, need a private eye? Send her an email, give her a call, or visit her apartment at room 607, Pleasant Towers. As long as the money's alright, she won't care what job she takes or who she takes it from. She certainly won't look into whoever gave her the job, even if they seem suspect.

Well... No promises. It is her job to stick her nose into things. So it's probably best to hide what you don't want to be found...
