Age: Rebuilding bodies for herself causes her physical age to reset, she estimates that she's about a few hundred years old, however.


The witch Alori is certainly one to stand out in a crowd. Dressed in an eye catching witch's outfit, consisting of a tight, dark-bluish black, and somewhat skimpy one piece which ends in a somewhat short skirt, a pair of tight arm sleeves, and a pair of tight, thigh-high black high heeled boots. Completing the outfit is the all too recognizable pointed hat. But of course people's eyes tend to gravitate towards what lies beneath, which can be accurately described as 'eye-catching'. Possessing an overall thick frame, with a chest that seems to stand right at the border of grotesque, especially plump hips, and smooth thighs that all come together into a package that leave quite a lot of people thinking "Too much.". But of course, there is much more to her than her looks, namely a story, quite a long one of twists, turns, and loop-de-loops. Unfortunately, much of such a tale is not for here, but you're not going entirely empty-handed of background information.

In an age long past, Alori was but a fresh graduate of a rather prestigious academy of the magical arts. Specializing in enchantments and alchemy, plus a passable amount of practice in other categories and arts, she had just set up shop in a quaint little village, providing her services to the townsfolk. It wasn't long before trouble struck, and she was thrust into the life of an adventurer, the grand life of traveling the lands in pursuit of justice, peace, and above all else, the jingling purses of grateful commoners, traders, nobles, and all else that find themselves troubled by bandits, monsters, and an evil mastermind or two.

Life expectancy of such a career is normally quite low, but this witch managed to beat the odds, and whilst the brave fighters merely grew to hit harder, faster, and more gracefully, the charming rogues learned to fool, deceive, and swindle all the more effectively. The witch's power grew quite exponentially, the years tempering her wisdom, magic, and knowledge. It certainly took a while, but her power and experience grew to the point that she began to care less and less of the now mundane tasks at hand. Bandits sacking trade routes? "Whatever, let's just scare them off, get paid, then let them reassemble later to get the merchants all bothered again. More troubled traders means more coin in our pocket." Evil wizard assembling an army of undead? "Eh, it'll take weeks before he grows to become a threat, may as well hit the tavern til he amasses some decent spoils." Horde of demons preparing to escape from their realm and enslave the country? "Oh bother, this again?" Having enough power to cheat even death tends to cause one to develop a very carefree outlook of life.

Of course, her increasingly carefree attitude earned the ire of her peers, and since the jobs had begun to wear thin as well, the witch figured that it's time to head for greener pastures. Scrounging up all of her possessions, Alori began setting off for other worlds, exploring the new wonders on her own. And quite the wonders she saw... modern, bustling cities, realms of great magic and wonder, even lands of far advanced technology and science. Of course, the profession and attire of a witch doesn't quite sit well with most worlds, which typically hold a less than favorable opinions of her kind, thanks in part of the reputation of more evilly-aligned spellcasters of her trade. But she doesn't let such reactions get her down, as she tries her best to show that not all witches are of the cackling, evil sort. Most of the time, at least.

Along her travels, she usually sets up shops wherever she deems convenient, using her talents to fulfill requests, be it enchanting services, protection, potion sales, and the occasional odd job. Most of the funds allocated are used to indulge in luxuries, which for her usually involve nights at pubs, bars and taverns. Of course, she'll allow alternate methods of payment, such as objects of interest, or even favors. It sometimes takes even hours for the witch to barter over payment for a job.

Finally, there's that bit of a twist that I'm sure some of you have been waiting for. It seems somewhere along the way she had developed this penchant for devouring others whole and alive. Where and why she began to do this is very much a mystery. Like many stories of her past, Alori tries to keep them under wraps, for many a variety of reasons.
Magic-wise, she specializes in enchantments, alchemy, and the dark arts. She also has a penchant for electricity-based spells. And her long, eventful life has left her to be proficient in most other categories as well. Her power is finite, however, and working her magic too much in one day will leave her quite drained, so don't expect her to use it as a solution to everything.

Plus, although she has years upon years of studying and experience, all that time has a price, having such a massive repertoire of spells makes it difficult for even the most finely tuned of minds to recall them all. So while she knows a good many by heart, such as teleportations, basic self defense spells, and whatnot, less used spells will typically require consultation of her books, which she keeps inside her magical bags of holding. Whenever needed, she simply summons a bag up from whatever plane she left it in and looks the specific information up, although it takes some time to get the right bag, and within it, the right book, and then inside that, the right page, etc, etc.

Some spells also require materials to be consumed in the ritual, these can range from herbs, bones, metals, and many other objects, thus, she can sometimes be seen snagging a variety of objects that nobody is using and stuffing them in her bags. She also collects a large variety of magical trinkets or other oddities She has come across in her travels and journeys, so much stuff that it's also difficult to remember what exactly she has. Things that are too large to fit through her bags are typically left in pocket dimensions, which are just as cluttered, she really needs to start takings notes as to where she keeps what, which are also categorized, one containing cooking supplies, another having furniture, etc, etc. She has a bit of a kleptomaniac streak sometimes.
