When Isabelle met Logan she was only 11 the same age as Logan. Isabelle had been walking through the forest when she had slipped off a cliff and fell down it, in the process she ended up twisting her ankle. Logan had been wandering the forest as well, shurking his royal duties. He had heard Isabelle scream and he came running. When he first saw her the thought "easy meal" but as he got up and close to her Logan Realized she was human but Isabelle was scared. As Logan got right up in front of her, he looked deep into her eyes and saw something in her eyes that made him change his mind in an instant. What it was, was love at first sight, Logan scooped up Isabelle and took her back to his home.
He fixed up her ankle and once Isabelle was strong enough she left but not before agreeing to see Logan often. The two would meet at the spot Logan found Isabelle and they would play and talk. Logan fell deep in love with Isabelle and Isabelle fell deep in love with Logan. Logan ended up finding out Isabelle was a princess but she was from the human Kingdom that was Logan's families rival. There two families were in a seemingly never ending battle. Isabelle's family saw Logan's kind as nothing but monsters. Logan's family saw Isabelle's as nothing but prey to hunt. Logan and Isabelle did not think either of those things, she saw Logan for Logan not a monster and he saw Isabelle as Isabelle not prey. The two were deeply in love but because of their families they had to keep it secert.
Isabelle grew older but Logan did not. He explained to Isabelle that werewolves aged much much slower than humans. She did not care that he still looked 11, Logan was the love of her life. A few more years went by and now Isabelle was 15 Logan still looked the same but neither cared they loved each other. Both wished they did not have to hide there love and they each tried talking to there parent about the others kind, each time it did not go over well. The two kept on meeting in secret and continued to fall deeper in love with each other.
Isabelle was fearing something though, because Logan aged much much slower than her, she would lose him eventually because he would out live her by a long time. The thought of leaving him so early in his life was tearing Isabelle up inside. She kept it to herself for year but when Isabelle reached 17 She decided to tell Logan what she feared most after she did it, Isabelle broke down and cried. She wanted to be with Logan forever. Logan went to his father and asked about why they ages slower than humans. His father didn't think anything of it and told him why but that did not help Logan. He went though to his families library and found a book that told of something that could make a human age like a werewolf.
However finding the ingredients would not be easy to find and could take Logan many years to find them. Isabelle told Logan to do it anyways, many years was nothing compared to the lifetime they could spend together once he found all of the ingredients. Isabelle would do anything to be with Logan and wait for him. Logan would do anything to be with her but first had to do what he needed to do. He needed to find those ingredients and then he could with Isabelle and not lose her early in his life. There was always another fear they both had, the fear that there families would find out and try to stop them. For now there families were in the dark and knew nothing.
