Long, long ago, a family of dark elves where expecting a new daughter.
That daughter was Alysha, and she lived a normal life with her brothers
and sisters for a few decades. That was, until, her family noticed she wasn't
developing any magic powers like the rest of her siblings.

One day, her family put her to the test, to see if she could live up to her name
and not shame her family with her shocking normalcy. She was put in charge
of defending a small, "sacred" hot spring, located in a small clearing deep within
uncharted forests. Her family told her to survive on her own for a week, and that
they would be back for her then. Determined to prove herself, she eagerly accepted
the challenge! There she would sit, guarding and waiting, living off the land...

...for more than sixty years. Alysha spent that time trying her hardest to gain some
sort of magic ability, talking at length with any traveler or explorer that came by
her little hot spring. One day, she met a traveling lamia, one with glistening wings
and floating magic orbs. She talked with him to find out how he got such magic, learning
that the lamia consumed others to gain his magic powers. Realizing she has an opportunity,
Alysha thanked the lamia for his advice before finding a new goal in life:

Devour ANY magic or non-human people in hopes of gaining her own magic powers!
