Arcane power sheathes timidity in a usual scenario. Some days she'll hop out of bed with some pep in her step and a few extra shakes of confidence in her stride. Most times, though? This hardly changes her commonly burying her nose in a book, and being an obsessive fan of everything fruit - the one exception she can fawn over is a bag of marshmallows. You can't buy happiness, so they say, but you can buy snacks. That's pretty close.

Now, Alyssa hails from a distant world - magic flows freely in and out of creatures, though there are quite a few monsters that go bump in the night, crash in the forest, or rumble high up in the hills. She's knowledgable in these cases, both reading and encountering plenty of beasties. She excels in the magic of portals the best - so much, in fact, that she can travel to worlds that are close to hers (in theme, conveniently.) She's aware that other worlds are out there! Below her portal prowess dwells fire and illusions.

Therefore, she's best used in magical scenes where mystical creatures and spellcraft exists. Another fun detail - the tribe she comes from, elves are catlike. Considering her mom was one of them, she's got plenty of that blood in her veins... use this information as you will.

Alternatively - there's a parallel of her in Final Fantasy XIV Online! A half-elezen arcanist/thaumaturge hybrid. Also a culinarian and alchemist, those skills cross into each other surprisingly well. Safe to say that's accurate to her base character, no?

When she's not busy with trolls or practice, she'll be found reading a book in a Cherished_Respite.
