"So, um....praise the eternal dark, and hail that which dwells there?"

It's hard enough being a young woman at university. It's harder still being a young cultist. There are rituals to perform, sacrifices to be made, studies to keep up with....

It would be easy to mistake Amani for any other goth, dressed in faded black jeans, tall boots, and a tight black rock band t-shirt. However, she takes things a step further. She doesn't only pay lip service to demons and such; she actively worships, summons, and deals with them. Evil spirits, elder gods, devils, all of it. Theoretically she does this in the pursuit of power, but the truth is that she sees it as fairly mundane. She's as likely to summon an imp to brew coffee for an all-nighter as she is to lay a horrible curse on someone who annoys her.

While this makes her a bit more dangerous than the average mortal, it also puts her at greater risk. If she tries to wrangle something terrible and beyond her power, or can't fulfill her end of a Faustian bargain, she could be in serious trouble! It might cost her life....or more. On the plus side, her affinity for things spiritual means she has an easier time detecting the supernatural.
