Somewhere, in a box few people access, is a hard copy profile of the creature known only as 'Amaranth'. Were one to be serendipitous enough to access such a dossier, it would detail the following information.
Physiological Information
Amaranth is a dragon whose species no one has been able to identify with 100% certainty. She displays many similar attributes to a mostly unheard of Amythest Dragon, though the differences displayed can
likely be attributed to mixed breeding. Female with a body structure most easily comparable to a typical western dragon in terms of being a quadruped with broad wings and similar muscle structure, her purple scales cast an scintillating aura when catching the light properly. This makes her an easy thing to spot in almost any lighting conditions, especially in tandem with her size. Standing at a height of almost twelve feet at the shoulder, with an estimated tail tip to nose length of over fifty feet, and a wingspan of sixty, she's an imposing figure to most. Weighing in at a touch over nine tons, physical intimidation, whether she likes it or not, is something of a standard for those unaccustomed to any larger creatures of legend. Her age is unknown precisely, though she has demonstrated the ability to produce young, and feels, purportedly, to be an adult of neither particularly youthful or mature inclination.

Psychological Information
Based strictly off of information gathered in prior experiences, here is what we know. For a creature doubtlessly capable of a great deal of death and destruction, her attitude has proven to be very altruistic and kind hearted. She often places the comfort of others before herself, and has visibly made considerable sacrifices to adhere to her very strong and deeply founded sense of right and wrong. This extends to allow her to adhere to stranger requests, such as consumption, which is not uncommon for the area where she has made her home. Despite her convictions, she is considered to be intelligent, open-minded, and largely objective in her observation of the world she lives in. The development of her strangely selfless psychosis can be probably attributed to her time aboard the massive interstellar battlecruiser that she escaped from. Evidence suggests that her time aboard the ship was not willing, and not enjoyable, and her likely position as an (possibly) experimental captive has given her unique insight to the plight of other creatures. She regards her world with great curiosity, and seems to eagerly interact with anyone and anything. She is only able to vocalize in draconic, though has been seen silently communicating with anything with a mind, presumably through telecommunication (see below).
Abilities and Powers
Amaranth has displayed many capabilities, and this should
not be considered a comprehensive document should you be considering a combat scenario with this dragon. We do not recommend it. What insight we can provide is the following. She displays a gaseous breath weapon as is typical of some draconic creatures, and its effect has been always one of two things. A powerful and long lasting disorientation and confusion, or more dangerously, a direct conversion of liquid and solid matter into a crystal we are currently studying. It is not one we are familiar with on this planet before her arrival. She displays no magical abilities, unusual for a dragon, but instead compensates with psionics, whose potency has been observed to increase under emotional stress. An expert opinion has suggested she is capable of manifesting seventh circle psionic powers. In perspective, there are nine, possibly ten circles, ranking her as a powerful psionic being. These psionic powers are variable and impossible to list, although she has displayed an uncanny capability with psychometablism and psychokinetics. This concludes the strictly supernatural powers we have observed. She displays typical strong senses for a dragon, somewhat enhanced regeneration, especially regarding her skeletal system, although even these could be considered variable on account of her displayed ability to augment facets of her physiology to meet her needs. She should simply be considered an extremely versatile and resilient foe of high threat. Psychological manipulation, extortion and coercion through threats to those she might care for should be strongly considered as a means for attack.
