What does one usually do when they find a lost child? Well, in the absence of actual parents or a nearby orphanage, one might take the child home, get them cleaned up and fed, then send them out to engage in brutal gladitorial combat for profit and the amusement of thousands... wait a minute.
That's the story of Lilica, a young Majin discovered by the owner of a grand colosseum. At first he simply thought she was a funny-looking kid with a skin condition, but after getting a glimpse of her sheer strength, and her uncanny elasticity, he saw potential. Soooo he threw her into his arena to fight his strongest warriors to the death. And she beat them all. Needless to say, it kept going.
As the years went on, Lilica became more and more famous... or in this case "infamous". She even earned herself a nickname from her fans, "Angol Lilica". They got the idea from a race of world-destroyers from some manga about a cartoon alien frog... But as her gladitorial success grew, it certainly had an effect on her upbringing. As an adult, she became rather cold, constantly craving battle, among... other things. In many of her battles, she has the tendency to... consume her opponents alive. Sure, 99% of her victims weren't exactly the nicest people, but it's still a pretty gruesome fate.
Though eventually, she began to get bored with the colosseum, aside from the occasional craving for meat. But it's not like she could really escape, mostly because she had no idea where she'd go. But everything change when one day she found herself pulled from her "home" to a place beyond time and space. It was there that she found herself enlisted in something called the Time Patrol, tasked with protecting the timestream from those that aim to change history for the worse.
...Lilica was more interested in the potential battles that awaited her in her new job, but didn't seem to thrilled when she learned she'd have to work with others. Hopefully the other time patrollers can manage to put up with someone so bitter and bloodthirsty, and maybe, just maybe, put the rest of her life on a more positive path and potentially even cure that bloodlust of hers...
Training rookies is hard and annoying, sometimes they need a little disipline.
When your boss forbids you from eating people and there's that
one jerkface that's ruining your day, you've gotta have a backup plan. While she'd prefer doing things the old-fashioned way, her navel's the go-to foodhole while on the job.
