Folklore and Myths

Witches are evil beings who steal the souls of others or always looking to make a deal that brings favor to them. Witches are to be avoided, they are to be burned at the stake and never spoken too, they are not too be trusted.

This and many things can be uncovered when looking back in time, when witches and magic were involved bloodshed was soon to follow. At least this was the old world, the world now a days doesn't know witches exist, or if they do they are not as known as they were back in the days of old. In today's world witches and warlocks keep their identities secret from the public, all the while blending in with the public eye.

Of course many of this witches attend special schools to learn more about their craft, and some of them simply get private lessons from some of the most powerful witches in all of existence. And this is where our story picks up, with a rather young, yet powerful witch named Anna...who lives deep within the woods with one of the best witches the land has ever known.

Anna Thomas

Born into the ways of the dark arts Anna was whisked away from normal society and now lives in a secluded home deep within the woods just outside a rather busy city. From her birth she had been different, instead of going to regular schools with normal kids she was pulled out and was made to learn the way of nature and the way of magic. But this was her life and she was use to it, she never thought about what she was missing since she never had it.

When it came to magic Anna was one of the best, she was conjuring spells and quickly becoming one of the best young witches of her time. She had a firm control of the elements and could summon storms in the blink of an eye, and on the reverse end she could heal shattered bones with a simple whisk of her finger. Yes for the most part the girl had it all, well besides what most would call a normal life.

But she didn't mind her life like this at all, to her this was perfect. She loved her family and the friends she made while studying her craft. Her favorite activities along the grounds of her manor was to simply walk around the nightlife and take in the moonlight. For the most part Anna was a creature of the night, of course nothing was wrong with the sun, she just felt more peaceful at night.

She remained this way until she turned fifteen years old, after that her teacher thought it was time for her to live in the realm of the humans, from now on she would be attending school like a normal human and learning how to blend into the human world. Which is much harder than it sounds! When it came to her own world Anna was confident strong, she never walked away from a challenge and was determined to be the best at her craft...though when it to interacting with humans...well that's when things got a little hard for her.

Nerves and School

And just like that Anna was whisked away to school to blend with the rest of the world, lucky for her, her parents didn't make her get a job too! It was bad enough she had to interact with other people now! When came too her own craft Anna was strong and confident, when it came to this she became a babbling fool who didn't know which way was up or down. She would drop her belongings all the time, trip when going down the hall, and for the most part she sat by herself when it was lunch time. When it came to homework and actual tests she was rather smart, sure she didn't talk much or raise her hand but he typically got some of the highest grades in the class, and just for that she made a few rivals.

Her parents urged Anna to get involved in after school activities, but that is something she could never find herself doing. Due to her nervous stuttering or blabbing out random things around others, she felt it better that she remain alone for the most part, human contact was not something she wanted to partake in. When it came to after school Anna typically hid out in an older part of the school, one that not many people visited due to the rumors that surrounded the old buildings, most of them all saying that the old wing was haunted. This was the perfect place for Anna to hide out away from the world, she was able to get her homework done and even make contact with one of the spirits the children of the school feared so much.

To make matters more interesting rumors about Anna began to spread, people began to think she herself was nothing more than a dark spirit that now haunted the school, after all the time she spent in the old wing people began to spread rumors. But for the most part this worked in Anna's favor. She didn't take advantage of the situation that often, but on a few occasions a student would wander into the old wing and spot Anna and begin to tremble in fear and being the witch Anna was she couldn't help herself, she had to simply play with them and tease them a bit.

The life of a Witch

So this was her life now, not something she saw coming but at the end of the day she didn't mind it. She went to school everyday just like everyone else, and at the end of the day she returned to her home in the woods when she could unwind and become herself. Of course when it came to after school activities she never told her parents about the rumors of her being a ghost. And what were those activities you ask? Well sometimes it was as simple and innocent as her playing the part of a ghost and scaring the student, and other times it turned into a little domination, and in other cases she may even shrink the student down and tease them under foot or even in her mouth. She typically wouldn't kill the student, it was not her blood to hurt them. Typically she would give them a scare and then wipe their mind, making them think it was nothing more than a dream.

Of course she is not all bad! If anything she is more troublesome than anything. Once she warms up to someone she isn't above pulling pranks on them or even just simply teasing them. Though while on the school grounds she may seem more relaxed and care free her personality seems to change if you are lucky enough to see her on her home turf. Of course she is still rather silly but she is much more dominant and confident about herself. She isn't against getting to know humans better but it takes time and effort from both parties. When it comes to one on one she seems to put a tough front at first until she really gets to know the person, after that she tends to open up to others and show people who she really is, and if she truly trusts you, she may even reveal she is a witch.

Heard rumors about the old school wing? Think a ghost is haunting there? Maybe you just want to investigate the woods by your home? Well whatever is, there is a good chance you will run into this young witch, though the question is what will you do if you meet her?
