Quick and difficult to pin down. She is however no predator and would likely prefer to go starving than eat someone else. April is agile, with great reflexes and can usually get out of most situations, unless cornered or up against someone of similar strengths to her own.

In her free time and at school she is a happy person, even cheery you may say. Her personality is a stark contrast to how one might expect a smart and studious youngster to behave, especially when considering she is a frequently troubled by the odd bully or three. When at school she keeps her head down and works hard, at the end of the day she walks home with her iPod on, singing along to whatever new or old song she has come across - that is April in a nutshell, difficult to trouble and somewhat carefree to the difficulties in the world. She will help whenever she can and do whatever it takes to ensure her friends and family are safe.

During her free time she can be found enjoying video games or studying magic. As a learning wicca she has delved into many simple spells; from levitating a cup, to unlocking doors. As well as that she has studied up on some more dangerous and difficult spells such as; Imp summoning, Locating spells and Invisibility. It is her growing certainty that she can continue to develop that is the biggest risk and it is only a matter of time before she goes in above her head.

Background History

Leading a normal life in a house with her parents and going to the local public school, she has no real issues in life, that was until she discovered something both very dangerous but oh so wonderful. One day on her walk back from school she took a 'shortcut' and it was in a wooded clearing that the first sight of black leather caught her eye. The curiosity of the cat took over and she picked the item up, reading upon its contents in her mind and pondering what to make of it. The evening was coming and after more than half an hour an engrossed April finally moved from the clearing, putting the book into her rucksack and returning home.

In the coming days, months and close to a year, April had studied the book front to back, trying to learn the correct pronunciation of the latin words before she dare utter any kind of spell. That's right, the book April possessed was perhaps the most dangerous item she could get her hands on in her well protected world around her. Little does she know the book is incredibly powerful in the wrong hands and long has it been missing. Demonic of its origin, the book like the one ring of Lord of the Rings lore, wishes to return to its original master, or find just as evil and corrupt being.

Fortunately April has yet to use the book properly and has so far stopped causing a demonic uprising or an apocalypse, however she has found since her book has been kept in her room that crime rates and unexplainable events have become more and more an occurrence in her town, but has yet to realise it is all due to the powers of darkness seeking it out.

Roleplaying Ideas for April

Can you tell me if this book is dangerous?
April ventures out to a local magic shop to try and decipher whether her book has any correlation to the increased crime rates in her town, however the owner is not all he seems to be and is delighted to finally have it in his/her hands. April is rewarded with the knowledge that it is deadly in the wrong hands, before he/she shows just why and stops April leaving before dealing with her for good.

Get out of my house!
April is home alone, the perfect opportunity for someone to slip in and corner her in her room. The book is likely the main object of interest, but April looks far too delicious to pass up.
