Apryl

Apryl “Ryl” is known to have an overactive imagination, even for a girl 15 years of age. She constantly spaces out and gets lost in thoughts of what she would change about everything around her if she could. Unfortunately, she really doesn’t have a say in much and lacks the ability to change anything in her home town. Luckily for her, Ryl was offered a job as a beta tester for a new virtual reality program. Now she can upload her consciousness into a virtual avatar in this new world that she can explore and alter everything as she sees fit. She retains her natural form, even inside this new world; but she has taken on the role of a Magic Girl that can have any wish granted that her heart desires. However, she is unaware that this new world is actually an alternate dimension where Pred and prey roam together in a constant struggle for survival. Ryl is aware of the other beta testers, now that Mistress_Tekaraz uploaded everyone in the program to a new data bank system where they can track and communicate with one another freely.

Apryl is Neutral Good in her personality. While immersed in a new world, Apryl has taken on her inner persona. Her chosen gamer tag is "Ryl", symbolizing her playful, creative attitude and play style. Her mood changes often and she is unable to conceal her feelings while immersed due to her brains direct impulses influencing her responses in the system. Since she believes that this is all just a game, she is not concerned with political correctness and does whatever she feels like doing as long as it seems justifiable to her. She loves interacting with others and changing her surrounding to fit her mood at the time. She regards all those that she meets as advanced AI and thinks that any emotions they display are just programmed responses, finding it fascinating to see how they react to her, but not trying to cause any pain intentionally. Ryl has almost no personal code of conduct or rules, playing almost every situation by whatever she is feeling at the time. Ryl is a good girl at heart, and does her best to respect those older than her while behaving sweetly. She is very naive and gullible, and susceptible to being tricked.

Ryl can make a wish and have it granted instantly any time she wants, so long as her heart truly desires the wish to come true and her imagination is active enough to think up a detailed wish for the desired effect. She doesn’t have to make her wish verbally, but usually will say it aloud if she can. Her powers can have any number of effects, but do not always work the way she wants them to. Sometimes her wishes can backfire if she doesn’t word them right, or she may simply wish for something without thinking about the consequences. She might use her power to bring an object or creature to life, give an animal the ability to speak, or change the appearance or size of herself and others for various reasons.

Ryl uses her imagination to make detailed wishes which activate her powers. When her imagination is low, her wishes won’t be as well thought out and have a higher chance of not going the way she wants them to. She gains imagination by having positive interactions and experiences. She loses imagination by being distracted with negative interactions, especially when they result in her death or others dying because of her. The bar below displays her current Imagination level:

Ryl met a waitress named Marie_Hiroshi that tried to trick her into having another lazy waitress shurnken and eaten by Ryl. Feeling that this action was sneaky and offensive, Ryl ended up having Marie shrunken and ate her with some chocolate pie and hot cocoa intead! After the poor waitress suffered a long and painful digestion inside the young girl's filled stomach, Ryl accidently wished the waitress back to life with all memory of the event without Ryl even realizing it. This interaction has affected Ryl negatively as she slowly loses the high of how great it felt and begins thinking about how she just took another person's life for a petty reason.

This character wasn’t originally planned as part of my Beta Tester set of characters, but I stumbled across a good number of pictures of her while doing research to make my next character; so I decided to just go for it and actually had a lot of fun making this character :3 As some of you may have noticed, I replaced the slot for Valkyries on my alt page for Apryl here. I feel that Apryl fills that alignment slot much better, and will likely just keep Valkyries hidden on my alt page as a bonus profile in the off chance that anyone actually wants to play a scene with multiple prey. Apryl is intended for scenes that trick her into using her wish powers in a way that compromises her safety or morality. I am open to chatting with anyone, but please don't demand a scene under the overly simplified reasoning being "Eat me, please!!!". I don't often have a lot of free time, so I am a little picky about the scenes I will engage in. I don't like to start things if I don't feel invested in them. So when requesting a scene, please be courteous and not pushy. Try to have an interesting idea for the scene that involves more than just sex or a getting eaten, those get boring after doing them repeatedly -_- Also, please avoid asking real life questions or discussing what you think I'm like IRL. I generally come here to escape and forget about work and such, so having it brought up here kinda irritates me. It's perfectly fine to discuss anime, manga, video games, tabletop games, movies, shows, music, books, and such. I love talking about anime and video games and as I mentioned before, I will talk with anyone as long as they respect my preferences. So feel free to approach me OOC and chat whenever my DND sign is not up. ^~^ I'm interested in scenes that really test the moral compass and sanity of my character, so anything that will put her in a morally compromising situation either good or bad will most likely be interesting to me :3 It could be a decision to help someone in order to gain an item or treasure, but being betrayed or deciding that it's not worth the effort and toying with the "quest giver" instead.
