About

Ararat is a long lived Lamia, one who existed before the races became mortal. Not having shed his immortality, he is one of a long lived race of lamia gifted with the ability to fly. Existing in the shadows of civilizations, Ararat maintained his existence, picking prey on the dregs of society as he continued to quietly collect treasures to raise his existence up higher and higher. When the time was right, however, he unveiled himself, becoming a power unto himself that brought followers from across the world in service to him. Those who opposed him soon fell victim to his hunger or his following, the latter of which would contribute to the former.

Ararat comes with a few abilities, which help him to track and hunt. First are his wings, which while they are normal sized, when he takes flight can increase in length, channeling Old Magic. Along with this, his tail is variable in length, using the same magic to increase and decrease the length of his tail, mostly just to accomodate travel. When he is resting, he will sit at his full tail length of 60 foot, when mobile his tail can retract down to 24 foot.

Ararat has, through the use of old magic, gained the power to hold onto Souls once digested, keeping them within his body for a time, to make his tail reflect those trapped within, making his tail resemble the night sky when he wishes to show off.
