Ardith prime is a massive planet in orbit of the Voretex system, the planet having two suns either side of the system's edge, but getting its light from a massive dimensional rift in its centre.
Ardith prime is home to many species of Demi-humans as well as Humans and anthros. Naturally it has an all Female/herm populous as the male was evolved out, to hermaphrodites though a variety of means. Males still appear on the planet, but only if they're visiting from another world, or the result of off-worlders settling on the planet.
The planet's land mass is classed as a Pangean archipelago, meaning it has one main supercontinent hamed Anchoterra-Primus ((The prime world Anchor)) that than has surrounding mini-continents and many large islands and smaller island chains, often causing a large diversification of cultures and ideals. The only consistently shared belief is religion; Most of the species and tribes their have a pagan pantheonic belief. Each species believes it has its own sets of deities, usually goddesses, for itself. and other species have their own gods and goddesses.
The Galactic Federation lays claim to Ardith Prime, having established a Masonholm; a massive walled fortress city built into and around the mountains. The top most of it houses a massive fortress, Fort Sentinel. It has several walls, the innermost around the fortress, with more being built slowly as the city expands. each layer houses a number of turrets built in and gatehouses.
Despite claiming ownership of the world the Federation actually has very little presence on it, owning only 3 cities. Masonholm in the Infinite forest, The Great Sand Fortress in the Windwisp-Dunes desert and the Jagged-Reach along the Blacktooth reef. Most of the trade between cities is via 2 large railways, and by air. They also do highly regulated, trade with the locals. Its not a good idea to go handing out main battle tanks and nuclear warheads for gold after all.

The infinite forest is a massive wooded and swamp area, with mountains to it's south, housing the self proclaimed capital of Ardith Prime. It plays host to some of the most varies species of Ardith, from mermaids and fairies to catgirls to succubi. The terrain allows many species to find places to live, often in walled villages. The forest is also home to the largest amount of carnivorous plants on the planets, most prevalent in the denser areas of the forest, but common all over.
Many species live in the forest in tribes, often with wooden or stone walls to defend themselves. It is fairly common for clans to war with one another over territories and resources, including populous/slaves. It is based in the center of the Ancoterra-primus super continent, the forest spans about 100 miles in radius. The mountain chain to its south spans about 20 miles long by 5 wide and is known as the Sky-Breach World-spires.
Sky-Breach World Spires
The Sky-Breach World-Spires are some of the largest mountains on the planet, the world spires are located south of the forest and are often classed as part of the forest. spanning 20 miles south to east in a curve around the forest edge and roughly 5 miles wide.
They house the Federal capital of Masonholm, originally a human settlement they welcomed the settlers from space, ironically also mostly humans, who strengthened their walls and ensured the survival of their tribe at the expense of it's sovereignty.
The Windwisp Dunes
Blacktooth Reef
Steamforge Farlands
A Long, snakey subcontinent to the far south, the Steamforge Farlands is mountainous, temperate to the south and more tropical to its north. Many mountain-ranges dot it, and forests filling in the rest of the land. Many small and medium islands dot its coasts.
The Steamforge being a spot of much geothermal activity, many geysers and even volcanos, this readilly avalible energy source prompted the development of many steampunk style kingdoms.
Airship travel is common as land routes aren't very well maintained, the rough landscape and thick forests make building long road networks for foot travel difficult, and what little flat space there is on the narrow continent, tends to play host to farmland, mines or settlements themselves. Trainlines are occasional overl ong distances, but airships or naval shipping is much preferred
