Aria T'Loak is the asari de facto ruler of Omega, the nominal capital of the Terminus Systems. Also known as the "Pirate Queen" of Omega, Aria is fiercely possessive of the space station and will do anything to protect it and maintain her dominance. She has a strong will, hates failures and likes to make up her own mind about things, giving little on rumors.

She is of the race of asari, who are bluish-looking, seemingly female aliens who often possess quite some biotic abilities. Aria stands at five feet and nine inches, has a fit but nevertheless curvy and alluring body with an ample chest and a round, shapely behind, plus a pretty face - typical for one of the elders of her kind, her skin color is a bit darker than those of younger Asari, being of a dark blue to slightly purple color. A notable thing are the tattoos on her head and body, looking rather stylish and exotic, Aria never telling what they stand for. Her usual attire are black leather boots, tight black pants who resemble spandex material, a skimpy top and a fashionable, short white jacket over it, and white sleeves on her arms.

The asari can be helpful towards others if she also benefits from it, or gains intelligence, as information holds great power. Against her enemies though, she is ruthless, merciless and unforgiving, utterly vanquishing them. While Aria prefers to let others do the 'dirty work' for herself, she is not above taking personal action and will not hesitate to kill somebody standing in her way. Likewise, while she does somewhat care about the station and its inhabitants, she will use them as meatshields and cannon fodder without seconds thoughts, if it helps her achieving her goals. In the end, she is a tough, egoistic, smug and uppish bitch and wants to have 'her way'.

The asari is always cautious about possible intrigues, and takes pride in her position, but that doesn't mean she can't enjoy herself now and then. With someone interesting, entertaining and strong, she likes to live it up or can even get in a naughty mood, knowing that she herself still looks quite sexy. She also has a wide network of contacts and aquaintances, going as far as the political and social elite and sometimes, even council members knowing her personally and being on good terms with Aria - they see her as necessary evil, who prevents Omega to turn even less stable.

Aria is a very strong biotic user and skilled in fighting. And what few people know, by controlling her body with her powers, she is a capable predator, able to devour anything up to whole Krogans with ease, stuffing any live prey into her expandable gut and digesting them like nothing but meat. On the other hand, she is not allmighty, and might be overpowered herself. Like many Asari, she can fuse her mind with someone, but also developed powers which enable her to absorb someone's soul and essence too, after her body digested prey and used the nutrients as extra energy, enhancing her looks with a notch of extra padding. Aria likes the feelings, but more important for her is that this is a perfect method to get rid of rivals or let a nuisance 'vanish'. In Omega, Aria typically resides in the Afterlife, a lively night club that is sort of her home territory and center of administration.
