Artemesia

Artemesia, or "Artemis" as she prefers to be called, is a traveling hunter specializing in tracking and trapping, having hunted for all of her 19 years of life (though she looks younger than that). She normally binds whatever she catches, and swallows it whole and alive, as she enjoys the feeling of a writhing meal. Domineering and playful, she's moved on from small-time game to larger and greater prizes, including humans. Artemis loves a challenge, but is very calculating and cautious; nearly becoming a large snake's lunch when she let down her guard on a hunt has her very thourough in her trapping, leaving her prey completely bound and gagged before she attempts to gobble them up.


Artemis carries many ropes, cloth, and other binding material wherever she goes, always prepared. Her mastery of binding is so high that she is able to capture and bind creatures that are much stronger than she is. She is also proficient with a whip, which serves as her weapon. Her preferred meals are females of most any species, as she dislikes the flavor of testosterone that most males give off. She especially loves cute things, if she sees something cute, she will be entranced by it for a while.


Though Artemis prefers to sneak up on her prey before binding them completely and swallowing them up, there are times when she faces powerful creatures where that isn't an option. Fortunately, she is skilled in open combat, with bondage skills that work mysteriously like magic. She possesses magical snares and nets that can ensnare even dragons, that can also shrink prey too large for her to eat normally. Artemis is a cute and playful human, but she is not to be underestimated by any creature, lest they be hunted for her pleasure.

Artemis got her magic tools by masterfully catching and threatening a powerful mage, demanding more power to catch prey that are impossibly out of reach for humans. She got the magical tools that she wanted, but they came with a curse. Artemis can catch anything she pleases, but she must eat everything that she ties up, failure to do so resulting in all her bindings becoming worthless.

What she won't tell you is that she loves being tied up herself. If you manage to be the one to tie her nice and tight, she's putty in your hands, though if she's in imminent danger she'll immediately try to escape, knowing her way around binds.


Artemesia's old magical trapping tools are now worthless due to the curse activating, she was given brand new ones by Magical_Mindy.



Her equipment is as follows:


Normal Rope: Pretty self explanatory, incredibly durable rope that can restrain humans and other creatures of similar strength, being nearly impossible to escape from when tied correctly. This is what she exclusively uses when hunting humans and other such easy prey.


Gags: Also self explanatory, Artemis always keeps lots of gags around with her to silence her prey. Her favorite are cloth gags, and she likes carrying around different colored ones to suit her mood.


Snares: Rope traps that are set in place. When something steps on them, they are sprung and tie around the leg of the victim, hoisting them in the air. She is capable of making the snares invisible through careful placement.


Nets: Useful for catching large groups at once, or catching flying prey. Artemis can also set it like a snare, causing it to spring up and catch prey when they step on it. Can also be made invisible like snares.


Living Rope: The first of of the new magical tools given by Mindy, the rope has a mind of its own. It can slither around and tie victims of its own accord, though it must be taught before being able to do so efficiently.


Time Landmine: The second of Mindy's gifts, the landmine leaves a magic rune on the ground, which activates as soon as something steps over it, instantly freezing it in time. Used for prey that is just too fast to catch normally.


Door Posters: A rather silly yet simple trap, the third magical tool functions like a door that can be plastered anywhere. When the victim tries to use it, is automatically sucked into the poster, their image on display to indicate the capture. The posters can then be placed in little carrying tubes for easy transportation.


Enchanted Ice Crystal: A rather dangerous item is the last of the four magical tools, its function quite different from the others. When ingested, it cools down the water inside of the body to freezing level, understandably very dangerous to most creatures. It can be slipped into food with great stealth, or placed in other large water sources for alternative uses, such as lakes.




Notable events in Artemesia's life:


Challenged by Laressa to a formal duel between hunters. Lost due to losing her footing, and willingly allowed herself to be wrapped up and taken advantage of. Taken home to be played with and trained in advanced hunting techniques.


Found a sweet slave in Sweetsugar, growing very attached to the little neko. Hearing of Sugar's relationship with Neicha_chan warms Artemis's heart, as she respectfully keeps her distance from the happy couple, seeing no reason to bug them unless called.


Challenged to another duel, this time by Vladimir. The cat proved difficult to catch, though in the end he was caught and gulped. Artemesia unexpectedly gained the ability to turn her body to smoke, allowing her the escape of most traps. She does not use this ability often, believing it to ruin the suspense of her hunts, but finds it has its uses.


Decided to watch a show of Magical_Mindy, during which Encase attacked. Mindy and Artemis were both swallowed by the creature and played with before being released. Days later, Artemis meets Aqua_Hearts, and forms a friendship with the girl. Due to crazy events, Aqua had almost lost her life twice, causing Artemis to doubt her ability to protect others.


Dealing with feelings of inadaquecy from those past encounters, Artemis spends time in the forests hunting dangerous predators to get stronger. However, doing so leaves her heavily wounded and near death. She comes across ThePlagueDoctor by chance, who treats her and denies payment afterward. Moved by his selflessness, Artemis rests and waits for her body to heal, motivated to improve herself.


After several instances of playing with willing, submissive slaves but being forced to eat them in the end, Artemesia grows frustrated with the curse and consults Magical_Mindy on how to remove it. The magician responds by tying the huntress up with her own tools, leaving her unable to unable to free herself. As she is unable to eat herself, the curse will activate and make her tools useless, making her stubbornly writhe in her bonds. This catches the attention of Mikia, who took the opportunity to swallow her whole and digest her. Reforming with no magical tools, Artemesia reports back to Mindy angrily, who offers her a new selection of tools, which Artemesia quickly accepts, though at a large debt to Mindy.


Became a member of Kylie_'s family after meeting with her and seeing how happy they all were together, very ecstatic as she is Kylie's newest daughter.
