Alright, I'm going to save myself some grief here and state four things off the bat:

ONE: This is an underage fan-character. The player is of age, and if you don't like either of those aspects, don't bother me.

TWO: I am not here to cater to your every whim. I have wants and needs too. Respect them, and I'll respect yours.

THREE: I may come off as mean through these warnings, but I'm actually quite agreeable. If you're not an ignorant moron and have an ounce of respect, we'll get along just fine.

FOUR: This Astrid's personality is similar to that of the Astrid prior to How to Train Your Dragon. She hates dragons and will kill them if they approach her (or die trying).

Astrid Hofferson is your typical prodigy in terms of viking combat. Young, beautiful, swift, and deadly, she is the bane of any dragon she comes across!

... At least, she would have been, if she had properly finished her training. Unfortunately, a dimensional rift caused her to be transported to this unfriendly realm, where the vikings have all but died out and sorcery of all sorts fills the streets. Machines and magic beyond her comprehension surround her, but she does not show any sign of intimidation... Only hardened aggression.

It is unwise to approach this young viking, as she's more apt to tear one's hand off before shaking it.

-Astrid as a Person-

Admittedly, Astrid is relatively nice for a viking, unless given a reason to not be. These reasons include, but are not limited to, the following: being around someone significantly weaker/stronger than her, snobs, dragons, losing, being around smaller individuals during times of hunger... Etc. So, in short, Astrid actually is a pretty sufficient bitch. However, she does have a kinder side that she very rarely shows.

-Astrid as a Combatant-
Astrid is a human in her preteen/early teen years, and as such is not the most physically adept of combatants. However, she does have the advantage of being rather fast, being strong for her age, and being trained in the act of combat by her fellow vikings to deal with larger creatures. She is a master of most weapons, though she specializes in throwing axes, battle axes, and the two-handed iron mallet. The two prior weapons are the only ones she actually has on hand, along with her shield, as she hasn't actually learned of her inherited skill on her father's side in regards to the latter weapon...
