"Greetings beings of gravity, and such."
Avon is the Lawful Neutral sort, her motives are fairly mysterious, and she often keeps specifics to herself, others of her kind are rare, and her age is kept vague at best.

Race: Avions are a race that first appeared as armored whale-like spaceborn beings, and gradually became more advanced and humanoid with evolution. They used their natural telepathic powers to perfect their form via advanced cybernetics and biotech, and saw space travel as their destiny. They eventually became so intertwined with altered DNA and nanobots that they barely resemble the beings they used to be. They call AVIONIA their home, which is an artificial area of space. Avions themselves can communicate easily with one another telepathically, and do so often with their antennas, which on physical contact link minds. They cannot read minds at a distance, but have the ability to "hear" where beings are by their thought patterns. They also are virtually completely immune to heat, and totally immune to cold. They've evolved this way because space is cold, and Avions need to survive re-entry. Avions are benevolent and sometimes even loving beings, often forming a strong relationship with their crew if they get one. Many actually grant some of their life force to the passengers they carry in order for their lifespan to average to the same length, allowing for a significantly extended partnership with their crew.

Depending on how one looks at it.. Avions are either Neutral Good, or Lawful Neutral.

Basically, living cybernetic humanoid spacecraft.

It is worth mentioning that Avions are not NOT metallic, but have a titanium carbide based alloy skin and wings, which is a very smooth material similar to a dolphin's skin, and is as pure a white as a star.

Avions believe that technology, simplicity, and efficiency lead to perfection, and that having already perfected their own civilization, move to improve other races.
