The Story: Avoubic was very high in stature where he reigned, worshiped by many, people dressed as him during their rights to gain passage to the underworld, He had many duties, such as, Protecting and attending to mummies of tombs to guard them, He was also a guardian of the scales, the very balance of ones heart to be able to enter the underworld, or to be fed their souls to Ammit, all of those who didn't mummify their dead properly, their corpses were eaten, he was also the keeper of the Book of the Dead, a powerful scribe in which no mortal should lay eyes on. Avoubic had a wife and a daughter as well, but they were lost with time, and Avoubic has been alone since, still searching the world for those who have properly buried their Egyptian dead through mummification.

But answer me this, does anyone really do that anymore?

Present bio: That is right, no one uses mummification to bury their dead anymore, which means Avoubic only has one job, to protect the scales and the book of the dead in the afterlife, but the only ones who could go their are the dead through mummification, so really, he got tired of that pretty quickly, looking for a new life among some other realm, he packed his things and headed out to somewhere else, that was until he found the park, a place of strange creatures, demi's, gods, goddesses, and beings like himself, this will be quite the adventure.


Appearance:

Avoubic is slightly muscular in shape, having nice curves on his male body that support his size, his entire body is covered in black fur to symbolize the black soil of the Nile, on his head he has golden tattoo's of his Egyptian lore that glimmer in the sunlight for example, the eye of Horus against his left eye, bits and pieces of it tattoo'ed everywhere on his body, there is an entire encryption of Egyptian text written upon his back by Thoth, the god of Writing and developer of science. He wears practically nothing except for a loincloth to cover himself, often carrying a staff and a flail, as well as a magical satchel that he carry's his belongings in.


Lore:

Avoubic was at first the god of mummification, that was until his father, Set, decided to kill Osiris, spreading his remains across Egypt and giving his heart to Avoubic, giving him the responsibility of the dead as well as the rights of mummification, his job was to use the scales to judge souls on their way to the underworld, eventually, Isis, the goddess of children and protector of the dead, gathered up the pieces of her husband and brother Osiris and revived him, however, Avoubic still remained as the God of the dead and mummification in Egypt, and Osiris was left god of Justice. Avoubic also carries the Egyptian book of the dead, also known as the Necronomicon, this book has the capability of bringing the dead back to life, and take away immortality, something that he keeps well hidden to keep from falling into the hands of those who would abuse its power, Avoubic also had merged with the messenger god Hermes, however, Avoubic still remained in control, absorbing his body and giving Avoubic wings and the capability of flight, however, Avoubic keeps his wings hidden.
