History;

Bala was born as the result of a devious mage’s ongoing work on a very strange project; The creation of a living sex object. Through the course of his research and experimentation prior to Bala’s creation the mage had found several things to be true; Demon’s were far too malicious and difficult to retain control of, slaves were too rebellious and difficult to break, and no normal woman would, of her own free will, commit the depraved acts he desired. Finally, when he found himself at a loss and growing increasingly frustrated by the futility of his efforts, the mage was struck by inspiration in the oddest of forms. Near enough to the site of his experimentation there was a farm, perhaps used by the family who owned it for the sale of what it produced or subsistence farming, he cared little about its purpose, the only things of interest to him trotted about in the field, or grazed in the pastures, or wallowed in the mud; Animals. With terrible new ideas in his head the mage proceeded to buy the livestock and continue his work upon them. However, after some time he came to more frustrating, albeit new conclusions; A demon inhabiting the body of a horse only made for a very malicious and difficult to control horse, a bull was no easier to break than a slave, and all of the animals were either unable or unwilling to act as he would have liked. Vexed to no end, the mage began to consider ending his research, however, as he sat prepared to dispose of the documents of futile endeavors within a flame, yet another idea came to him, this one more terrible than any that had preceded it.

The mage returned to the farm some time later, but this time he had his eyes set upon adding a new creature to his inventory; The farm girl from whom he had bought the animals, her short hair as red as the flames he had been prepared to cast his work into. With a quick movement of the hand and a drug soaked rag he subdued her and took her back to his workplace. If neither animals nor humans would do as he wished in their natural states, he would have to work around what made each difficult. The will of the human and the fighting instinct of an animal would need to go, and to achieve this he would try to override each quality the only way he could think how; Combining both and letting them cancel one another. The result of this last, terrible project was Bala, but still the mage was unhappy, for Bala was quite imperfect in his eyes. Though she remembered nothing of her past life she was not as mindless as he would have hoped. Additionally, she was not physically suitable for his purposes. For whatever reason she was enormous, and she retained both organs from each being that had contributed to her creation; The farm girl’s vagina and the phallus of the pig.

Though he deemed Bala a failure, the mage vowed to pursue this new avenue to further his work. He would combine more animals and people, refine the process, find the best combinations, and hopefully create what he had set out to. But there was one thing he needed to take care of first; The imperfect had to go. Bala was too large, ate far too much, and the mage had no patience for wasting time upon the result of a failed experiment. However, before he could destroy his creation, the mage found himself intruded upon by the family of the farm girl he had taken. None too pleased with the girl being used for Bala’s creation, the group killed the mage in revenge, but afterwards could not bring themselves to harm nor take in Bala, for they saw her as both their family and an abomination. So they simply left her, and Bala watched on as her ‘family’, which she had no memory of, left her homeless and alone. With her newfound freedom, Bala proceeded first to eat the body of her creator as she was hungry and had no love for him, and then went on to roam without aim or purpose, living a life split between the simple contentedness of an animal and the longing and desire of a human.

Personality;

As a result of the process that created her, Bala retained none of the memories of either of the creatures she was made from, and as such was a canvas of the blankest sort. Her experiences with others were limited to what little interaction she had with her creator prior to his death and that which she had with her ‘family’ for the brief moment before they abandoned her. However, these happenings did little to make an impression upon her for she could not understand either of them, her human intellect having been somewhat dulled by the integration of the pig. Because Bala functions on a level somewhat below a regular human she would have difficulty coming to understand most things around her, but her capacity is great enough to allow for her to be trained to perform on par with a quasi-intelligent creature. Naturally though, most of Bala’s imperatives are determined by the animalistic side of her, and she follows natural inclinations to do a few things; Eat, rest, mate, and due to her partial humanity she does actively seek comfort and affection from others.

Bala is unable to communicate well by virtue of the fact that she does not know any language, and is only able to parrot back words of no real meaning to her, the most commonly repeated one being her own name. With enough effort, it would perhaps be possible for her to gain a limited grasp of some words, but she would likely not ever be capable of maintaining a conversation. Her personal means of expression consists largely of body language that she knows through instinct. When angered she will utilize a threat display, when frightened she will sink lower to the ground, etc.

Socially, Bala is inherently crippled due to her lack of ability to communicate and absolute zero understanding of the simplest facet of human interaction. Her stance on other humans is split by her own partial humanity and the beastial side of her, each of which dull the other to some extent, but neither of which is completely dominant. Because of this, her actions towards another person would be largely decided by her level of comfort or lack thereof, which would dictate which natural imperatives she would follow through upon. If a person were to actively aggres her, for instance, Bala would fall back upon her animal instinct and become hostile in return, ceasing to view the other person as a person but instead as a threat to be fought off and or killed. Conversely, should a person endear themselves to her she would be more apt to view them as an equal. The most likely way to facilitate the latter reaction would be to appease both her humanity and bestiality, feeding her or rubbing her to make her feel contented and unthreatened. Once attached to a person, Bala becomes very affectionate and protective, almost to the point of possessiveness and will stay with that person constantly.

Hunting;

Bala is very large and naturally gluttonous, and should she have the opportunity she will simply continue to eat long after she has ingested what would be necessary to sustain herself. She is a pig, figuratively and somewhat literally, and as such is not a picky eater in the least. She’ll eagerly consume scraps, decaying food items, animals living or dead, and should she feel so inclined she will eat another person. A large part of what determines if she deems a person food or not is how well that person endears themself to her or otherwise fails to do so. Anyone who presents themselves as a threat off the bat will automatically be placed into the category of “edible” in her eyes. However, if Bala is very hungry her determinations will become skewed somewhat by her drive to eat, and the range of what constitutes a potential meal will broaden.

She is not a particularly stealthy creature, and will often opt to simply run down anything she decides to actively hunt, and often succeeds simply due to how deceptively quick she can be and how much ground she can cover because of her large size. Despite her lack of tact while hunting, her senses are keen and she can easily sniff out hidden prey, so even more clever prey have a difficult time avoiding her.

Build and Anatomy;

Tall and heavy, Bala has weight and strength which enable her to charge straight through most objects in her path, and it is not uncommon for her to simply snap thinner trees while in pursuit of prey. Much of her weight is distributed not only throughout her lower pig portion, but also through her humanoid upper body. As such, she is plump, with an apparent belly and large bust. She is very indifferent to her excess weight, lacking the common human idea of a thinner body constituting beauty.

Perhaps as another inexplicable side effect of the process through which she was made, Bala possesses an unnatural stretchiness. While the majority of her body is affected by this, she uses it primarily to enable her to intake even more food, and frequently skips over chewing in favor of swallowing whole anything unfortunate enough to pass her lips. Additionally, her meals, once swallowed, can be passed to one of two places; Her smaller stomach within her human portion, or the larger stomach within her lower half. The smaller serves only as a storage of sorts, often employed to hold food she can sustain herself upon for extended periods, and lacks any digestive ability. The larger is fully functional.

Interestingly, she also has both sets of genetalia, her female genitals sitting just above the divide between her human and pig halves, and her male set hanging between the pair of hind legs on her lower portion. Both are functional.
