Barbara Torres is an adventurer who hails from the jungle community known as the Shokato Tribe, and also the older sister of Santiago_BlackBear. She is a Crimson Bear, a rare breed that is known for its members' Amazon-like figures and increased bulk, which is one of the reasons she is so popular in her community.

By combining her overwhelming power with the speed of her Wind magic, she quickly became a high-ranking member in the local adventurers' guild and a symbol of pride for the tribe. It also helps that her personality makes her very loveable and approachable. What's not to like about this woman?

Backstory

From the moment she was born, Barbara Torres was set up for success. Not only did her breed already make her special on its own, but her parents were a pair of talented and respected people who spared no expense in making sure their daughter would have the best life possible. Thanks to this, she would eventually grow into a fantastic adventurer that combined the raw power of her greatsword and her bulk with the speed of the Wind Magic inherited from her bloodline. This, combined with her personality, allowed her to become popular in the Shokato Tribe.

This caught the attention of Chieftain Juliana, who sought to nurture her growth by teaching her personally and giving her special missions. This was nothing but good news to Barbara, but she was still not perfect. During one of those special missions, she was struck by an arrow on her left eye, eventually leading to her defeat. She was rescued and treated by medics, but her eye was left permanently unusable. She chose to let her hair grow over it as a result, since the memory of that battle still frustrates her.

During her recovery, she was taught to use Wind Magic to sense her surroundings via the vibrations in the air in order to compensate for her lost vision and make it easier to detect targets, a skill she made a habit of using ever since. Looking after her younger brother also helped with rekindling her determination, though she is worried about the neglect he is receiving from the tribe and how it changed him. That was where she began to dislike being idolized. Getting her ego boosted had cost her an eye already, and she doesn't want to lose her brother.
