Born as a bastard child of a Drow mother and a high elf father, Baryl was already doomed for racism not only by humans, but other elfkin as well. Even Baryl's own birth was not intended. Once her conception and birth was hidden she was given to a peace-loving elf tribe in order for her parents to forget she ever came into this world. Though the tribe will reveal the truth once she reaches the appropriate age

Unlike her adoptive tribe, Baryl seemed to have a natural talent in the art of being hidden a bit too well. During her childhood she always was able to be last to be found in hide and seek and when being the seeker she was able to find everyone quite easily. Concerned about this and Baryl's possiblity in going down a dark path, she met with the elders of her adoptive family and was given a speech while her power is strong to be used for evil, it can also be used for good. Acknowleging this Baryl did mae the choice to steal from the evil wealthy and give back to the poor. Or in some cases if something was stolen, steal it back and return it. Thus began the elf's life of being a vigilante for the good
