Gargoyles have long since been a mainstay to ward evil from many areas since times on antiquity. They give menacing stares to all passing souls who come into their line of sight and make one think twice about entering an area or at least give them some semblance that this area was steeped in superstition.

But the gargoyles of Lordran were different. Not only were they made of this purpose but they were also made to defend an area from any who would dare trespass. Not just Lordran but also the land of Drangleic had these specially made gargoyles. And possibly other lands as well.

These gargoyles were, at first, meant to be imposing sights as guardians to bell towers and the like. But a brilliant mind devised an idea of making them look more appealing to the eye as girls clad lightly in armor. The results were astonishing to say the least yet they still had the weight and force of their previous creations and were actually lighter on their feet.

One was designated as the leader of each set made and suffice it to say, each is as powerful as the last but they had also developed a taste for flesh on top of having many powers already made available to them. Thus their creators would find themselves devoured and digested in due time.

And now these creations dot different parts of several ruins and countrysides, waiting for their next meal to pass their sights so that they might feast.

Personality

They each differ to a certain degree but all have food on the brain as well as keeping their territory free of trespassers. Very rarely do they give a care of the affairs or situations their prey is in and will giddily devour them whether they be willing or no. Very few have also expressed interest in mating but this, once again, varies.

Powers/Abilities

Fire Breath- These creations can easily breath swathes of flames before them and can easily reach extreme temperatures enough to sear flesh. They can also be formed into balls of flame that explode on contact or even straight ahead in a linear motions.

Thundercall- Can use their weapon to call down bolts of lightning around the area to veritably shock and stun anything hit with one of these strikes.

Heavy Form- They, despite their light appearance, weigh an awful lot and can use that to their advantage. Because of this, they may not be able to fly with their wings all that well but they can float for a time and/or glide.

Halberd/Shield- Each come with their own weapon as well as a shield attached to their arms. These can be used skillfully along with other abilities.

Axetail- Their tails are another dangerous part about them. They can arc out and swing in different directions and are quite powerful. But these also serve as a weakness of sorts. Still, the head of the axe on the ends of these tails are very heavy and can cause untold bonecrushing pain if used.

Never Alone- If you think there are just 1 of these around, think again. They will always have at least 1 sister around and can appear in up to groups of six at once! Whatever you do, make sure to expect there to be numbers when dealing with them.

Weaknesses

-Their tails, especially the middle part of them, are sensitive.

-Being made of metal, electric-based things may repel them.
