TL;DR/characteristics

A mountain of a man in wolf's clothing, Bigby 'Woof' tends to leave an impression, whether that's wading through a crowd around nexus, 'handling' business, or slurping down his latest catch. The number of 'contributors' to his muscle gut changes every time someone asks so it's unlikely even he knows how many vanished. Still, if you need a hand, and you're not picky about how things get done, then Bigby's your wolf.

Backstory

Everyone knows Bigby, and Bigby knows everyone. That's how the man-mountain of a wolf advertises himself anyway. His body is layers of muscle and fat across a titanic frame. Some people duck to go through doors. Bigby once removed the door's frame. Property damage isn't his only claim to fame as the wolf takes odd jobs from less than reputable people from time to time. There's a reason people call him 'Big Bad'.

Of course he wasn't always big or bad. In his youth, Bigby lived as the runt of the litter and watched predators do pretty much as they pleased. It didn't matter if you had money, wealth, status, or friends. Once you were in a gut, you weren't worth... You get the idea. Bigby swore to himself that he'd get big enough, strong enough, and tough enough that no one would make a meal out of him. Starting with rodents, the young wolf worked his way up to the food chain to people his own size. The more he ate the bigger he grew until word got around that not even adults were safe from the freshman wolf.

Not everything is grim and dark. Bigby enjoys his regular job as Briar's top bouncer and the work he does on the side. It gives him money to spend time drinking and laughing with friends (those he hasn't eaten yet). A high school dropout, he educates himself by reading anything he can get his hands on and talking to as many people as he can find. When he runs out of things to do, Bigby can usually be found fishing along Nexus's piers or 'taking a run' through the park. His runs tend to be walks and he usually looks a little more full by the end.
