Avali-aside, Bin has a variety of functions. He's quite adept at scouting, both the surface of planets and the depths of space. His internal memory holds a vast database on every person or place he's ever encountered, as well as endless factoids about a variety of topics. Despite his vast intelligence, Bin is often used for more mundane tasks - repairs and cleaning of Talun's spaceship, trash disposal, functioning as a videogame console, etc - but he lives to serve, not minding the tedious or mundane aspects of his service. Despite his vast capabilities, Bin lives to serve, though the list of authorized users is pretty exclusive. Still, he loves to make new friends!

Such abilities have a steep cost, but the protogen's internal systems have been tuned to accept all sorts of biofuel as energy. He can consume nearly anything or anyone and his insides will render matter indescriminately into raw, energizing sludge to power his batteries. When he's low on energy, he's prone to devouring fuel sources without consent, but he's otherwise cheerful and sociable. If you have a task for him, or just want to say Hi, feel more than free to give him a boop!

After a particularly fun encounter, Bin saved a backup of Amythyst's consciousness to his internal systems (and the rest of her on his hips), promising to reform her with a body like his own! ...She'll still make an adequate fuel source, of course~
