Birds_of_Paradise

"The Birds of Paradise" to the people in their native land, "The Wings of Rapture" to mercenaries and guild masters, and the "Preservers of Order" to fellow deities and chaotic entities. These six birds exist on the "Seraphian isles" above Nexus.
They're a Chaotic-good faction, welcoming others to live among them. Living up in the sky, the main citizens are NanoSapiens; these humans transcended their flesh and bone to the point they're just a soul, piloting a vessel made of crystal.
Those that walk into their feathery embrace will given magic, blessed in churches, and ultimately become a virtuous being beneath their guidance. . . and that's where it balances out beneath their guidance.

Their rule is a Totalitarian government centered around the doctine of combatting sin with virture; furthermore, their heavenly domain is too bright, fatal even to sinful beings.
They use "virtuel", an energy composed of a soul's purity and integrity. With this power, they "save" people from themselves, using loaded language like:

1. The fallen: A way the Birds of Paradise unite their followers against a common foe. The fallen are anyone not among them on the Seraphian Isles, impure and unclean. Their goal is to come down and save everyone no matter how long it takes.

2. Save: When broken into their 7 individual beings, they often pay prisoners' bail or wander into lawless lands to kidnap beings who were brought low by their sins.

3. Intervention: A way to expand their territory, they claim a specific person, group, or nation is about to "fall" too far from their light. Deploying pilgrims enmasse to the location, they lay seige to the fallen one/ones, forcefully inhabiting and closing off all routes to and from.

4. Divine Intervention: Depending on how powerful or defended the individual/place is though, the avians themselves will arrive, to avenge pilgrims who've died in their attempts to save someone. They reveal the "wrath of a divine", forcing their way onto others.

5. Enlightenment: The sense of self-worth, is a fragile thing; therefore, people do many things to defend it. When Personally incensed, they'll imprison them, torture them, and tear through these Mental defenses, only stopping when their victims have had a Mental breakdown.

6. Cleanse: Once an Enlightened individual has proven themselves, the Birds of Paradise give them a second chance and have their memories erased. These cleansed people shuffle around like zombies, only able to think "saving" others, and serving the Birds of paradise.

7. Purge: Anyone who lives on the Seraphian isle is given an accesory based on which bird "saved" them; if a person has been cleansed, and starts to show signs of corruption, the accesory overloads their body with so magic that they're burnt alive in a pillar of light.
