Past: Life for tinies can be difficult. often seen as second class citizens at best or toys and food at worst, Piper couldn’t have been more unlucky. Born without the gift of sight, she spent most of her life with her family, tucked away in an alleyway living inside a cardboard box. Each day her mother and father would take turns setting out to find food for the three of them. Life wasn’t bad by any means. Piper always wished she could help out more, but she was always assured there was no reason to. Still, she always made sure the box they stayed in was clean and tiny. On occasion their family had relocated, perhaps once a year or so, but it never bothered Piper. That is until, at the age of 19, they were seeking out a new home when a wild alleycat spotted them. Piper couldn’t see the feline, but she heard the hissing... and the screams. The event is now a blur in her mind with how quickly everything happened. Her dad crying out, her mother screaming at her to run... And run she did, something Piper regretted as soon as she got to safety. Now alone in the big city, she’s doing her best to keep herself alive under the noses of those who call the nexus their home.

Personality: Some individuals hit with such an unfortunate combination as blindness and being tiny might be bitter, and they'd have a right to be. But Piper isn't one of those people. Why waste time on being sad about something she can't fix? That's her motto anyway. She doesn't dwell on anything for too long. After all, everyone has their issues. Optimistic and sweet, Piper delights in things such as singing and making things with her hands, be it a craft or a contraption. Despite her disability, with just a couple odds and ends, Piper has a habit of building fun little things such as pinwheels, slingshots, and a multitude of other things. If she actually had a set of tools and was normal sized, there's no doubt she'd be quite the mechanic or maker of gadgets. Besides that, she delights in listening to stories, be they books, tales from her family, or just human gossip. She could sit down and just listen to people for hours. In that way, she's probably the best listener a person could ask for.
