The woman, Charr , transformed him, to give him a new beginning, as her son, giving his body many draconic features: now, his forearms and legs are covered by scales, and he got a pair of draconian wings. His mind, too, became different: he forgot most of his previous life; he can still remember he had one, but most of his memories are vague, like a dream after waking up: the only memory still vivid in his mind is the day when he met Charr, and his life changed forever. Sometimes, he even wonders if he actually wanted to forget his past... He remembers Charr asking him, as he had a choice. But now, what is done is done.
When the changes in his body were completed, Charr gave a new life to him, as her new son, helping him to get ready for this.
His appearence is of a demi dragon: he has a human head, and torso, with limbs covered by scales, and draconic wings. As his mother, he has the ability to disguise his form, and look completely human, if he needs.
As soon as he had grown up, he started exploring the world, and he came to a city called Ayonoree: it was a big city, once flourishing, but now ruined. Disguised in his human form, he visited the city, and soon learned the story: a giant troll lived in the lake near to the city, and periodically claimed for a victim: if he couldn't find one, he rampaged, crushing houses, killing cattles, until he sated his hunger. Many heroes tried in vain to fight that monster, using magic, strategies and the best weapons. So, in despair, the king ordered that every twelve days the name of one citizen must be drawn, and the unfortunate one had to be tied near the lake, to be fed to the monster. Almost every family in the city had someone who died in that way to mourn.
Bluefire decided to take advantage of the situation: he told to be a mage, and that he came to help the city to get rid of the threat: he promised to prepare a potion that would give a superhuman strenght to anyone who drunk it; after rallying the few remaining troops, composed mainly of inexperienced recruits, he administered them the potion, and sent them against the monster.
Feeling confident, since Blufire gave them a new hope after years of desolation, the troops boldly went to the troll lair, and attacked it... only to discover that the potion was a lie, as soon as the troll devoured three of them; they scattered, trying to run for their life, but it was too late, and the troll killed and devoured all of them.
From a distance, Blufire looked at the defeat with satisfaction: he always knew that there was no hope for the troops, but he tricked them to drink his potion, because it was the only way to make them take the slow acting poison he prepared.
Three days later, the corpse of the troll emerged from the lake... killed by the poison the unsuspecting soldiers delivered to him.
When the truth was revealed, a riot broke out in the city: some people were horrified at the wicked plan of Blufire, who didn't hesitate to poison and betray his own troops... while other, who lost someone because of the monster, thought at how many lives could have been spared, if only someone had thought of such a strategy earlier.
Soon the king was overthrown; Blufire promised to protect the city, and become the new regnant: his first act was sentencing to death the old king, on charges of incompetence, and of endangering the city. Today, Blufire Kibu the First still rule the city, with iron fist; he is feared, but he has the absolute loyalty of inhabitants. His goal is to bring back the city to its former glory, so he is more interested in maintaining public order and encouraging development than in ensuring justice and welfare.
