Sometimes you just feel...incomplete...

Somewhere in the universe exists a world much like our own though with a rather jarring difference. Species of all kinds walk the earth, human, anthropomorphic, fantasy, and so much more. But while this is fascinating its not what stands out the most about the world rather it's a special class of the populace. There are some of this world that were born, incomplete, at least that is how these individuals describe it. This feeling exists for 20% of the worlds entire population though it seems like a lot that percentage is further split in the middle for the affliction effects one in only two ways one or the other. But what is this mysterious phenomenon? Why are people and beings of this world feeling this way and what are the ways it effects them? Excellant questions but first I feel its best to name the two groups of this 20% that one falls into of this strange occurence. They are referred simply as Bodies and Souls. And the condition and feeling they express is very real for it is true Bodies and Souls are individuals who were born "incomplete", a strange mix of a physical and spiritual imbalance that will effect them their entire lives. That isn't to say there is no cure only one cure exist however the cure is also a permenant part of their life that if taken you can never go back to. Well it depends on two questions, do you like to take care of others? And...how independent are you?

Yes, I'm sure the wheels are turning for some of you, the only cure to feel truly complete and whole for a Body and a Soul...is for them to join together... in which a Body must take a compatible Soul and devour them in some manner to keep and hold inside themselves. And after 24 hours a bond will form that can't be broken and the Body and Soul while they will feel the satisfaction of completion and unity...they can never stray from the other again. A Body will house the Soul and the Soul will have to learn to be content in their lives taking a sharp turn from what they may have originally planned. But more often then not a Body and Soul will not complain for just that feeling of being whole and like you belong is all the worth it. Of course there are so many different stories that can be told rules of this world to accomodate them and how they accomodate each other. Just have a little patience and continue to read on to learn more of this intesting path and fate that these Bodies and Souls find themselves in.

Why are they called "Bodies and Souls" and "What are they? How do they function?"

Answer: Bodies and Souls are individuals who essentially are not "complete" something was made wrong in their physical genetics or spiritual feelings. A "Body" will be someone who is physically perfectly fine in fact scarily those who are "Bodies" do not get sick, ever, all of them have O- blood, and even Bodies who are more heavyset by their own choice of diet have a lot of stamina and energy. But of course a Body will always feel something is missing they have problems with emotions and connecting even if on the outside they are spirited and seem to be extroverts, they won't feel fulfilled. They feel "empty" for no reason one can have the perfect life, can have success, and all they could ever want and it'll mean little or nothing at all. That isn't to so they are apathetic each Body is unique like any other person but overall that sense of "emptiness" is always with them.

A "Soul" is quite the opposite, Souls are very in tune with their and others emotions, they are quite sensitive and often empathic. Their presences soothes and is often quite calming to be around. Most are very creative and intuitive do to be so intune with their own emotions in ways others just aren't. Souls also tend to have striking features that are unique unnatural hair, eye, and some even skin colors from their species, most just mysteriously beautiful in their own way. But in turn their bodies are weaker, Souls are born with very weak immune systems, it is not hard for them to become ill. That isn't to say they can be easily afflicted with deadly diseases far from their cells only defend against such deadly disease. Where bodies feel "empty" a Soul feels "weak". A soul can be active but not nearly as much as a regular person for there's only so much their bodies can handle before they fall. Doesn't matter what they do to get stronger they'll always be weaker then others.

Whether Body or Soul, both share one thing that they'll always feel, and that is loneliness. Even with people they love they just always feel alone. And that is why a Body and Soul are drawn to each other, for Bodies need the Souls empathy and Souls need a Bodies Strength, only together do they function.

How do you know for sure that your a "Body" or "Soul"? Is there a for sure way to tell?

Answer: Yes, both a Body and a Soul are born with distinct birthmarks for a Body it looks like a "Star" and a Soul it looks like a "Heart". Though no birthmark is in the exact same place. It is possible for a Body or Soul to have their birthmark in a place that can't be seen like atop their head with a full head of hair, or inside the knee. So some people can go their whole lives not knowing for sure. There is no other genetic test that discerns them from others. Otherwise the only other way to know for sure is the feeling they get when coming across their other half. Which leads to the next question.

How to know a Body and Soul find the right partner?

Answer: You just know, there'll be a warm feeling near instantly when you meet, an instinct a desire to be whole, and should you follow through with the ritual a Body and Soul will have no other doubts when the overwhelming sense of "completion" and "home" strikes them.

So then are a Body and Soul the equivalent of soul mates?

Answer: Kind of one doesn't have to find their partner in a romantic means, a Body and Soul has no distinct age group, one doesn't need to be romantically compatible at all. Sometimes its completely random as just two strangers meeting in the streets, friends who've known each other, and indeed romantic couples or becoming couples can happen, the most complicated however deal with the young. Student and teacher, siblings, even parent and child and more. It just all depends on the compatibility. And as stated they just will know when they find that other half.
