Cassy was born with a brain defect. That defect though didn't limit her metal capacity or effect how she developed. No it was in her nervous system, growing up she never felt any pain. In fact it was just the opposite. She enjoyed pain, when examined by doctors it was discovered that all the nerves that transmitted pain were going to the pleasure center of her brain. There was nothing they could do to fix this defect, because the operation would kill her. So her loving parents did the only thing they could. They had her DNA taken so they could clone her if she were to ever die. Luckily the insurance agency they found would cover unlimited cloning. If they will honor it or not will yet to be determined.
Cassy grew up with a unique outlook on life. For her adventure was ok since getting hurt would feel good. She would get into fights a lot and take any bet anyone could make. She once jumped into the lion pit at the zoo and was mauled, enjoying it the whole time. When she became older she went into the movies as a stunt woman. She would do anything the directors wanted her to do. She did care if she died, in fact she often did when the stunt called for it.
Because her genetic code has a slim build she often uses it like a instant diet. Killing herself when she puts on to much weight just to get cloned again. This also is how she gets rid of scars or missing parts. One thing she wished she could fix was her astigmatism for glasses. She doesn't get any work done on her eyes since the defect is genetic and would be undone when she is cloned. A special scanning device implanted in her head allows her memories to be transferred to her new body up to the second of her death.
