Capha is a rather large snake who spends much of her time below ground, slumbering and digging tunnels aimlessly. She is largely harmless, aside from the one time of the week where she emerged from her burrow to hunt, kidnapping her prey and taking them underground to be devoured and slowly digested through her long tail. Her favorite prey includes smaller animal-human hybrids, but she is rather indiscriminate as long as she can find something big enough to hold her over for a week.
Capha is no pushover in combat, her long tail being very flexible and quick to move, despite its large size. She can slither at hide speeds, tunnel even quicker, and flick her tail for quick, extremely far-reaching attacks that keep her safe. She is also known to be quite cowardly, frequently taking tunnels to reposition herself in combat and keep an upper hand. As such, she favors wide, open terrain when searching from prey, surprising them from underground if she gets the chance.
Her simple way of life coincides well with her simple, direct manner of speaking. She isn't one to mince her words, and has few friends because of that- and the ones she had, she had eaten because she was too lazy to go out and hunt.
The plains that she frequents to hunt lay between three major market towns, and many of the merchants around her want her head. Though, none of them have succeeded yet, they have sent many to try and stop her.
Her eyesight is very, very bad, mostly due to the strain of trying to see with so little light underground for so many years. As such, she has developed a method of locating her prey similar to echolocation, just through the ground- she can click her tongue a few times, and through the differences in the signals she gets back, she can get a general idea of where the prey is. This is, of course, more effective up close than from afar!
