Captain_Blood
Cheryl Blood. Though she prefers either Cherry, or Captain. She believes herself to be the best of the pirate captains out there, though to be honest, she knows she needs a crew before she can truly be a captain. Even so, she is a powerhouse on her own. She wields the Ketsueki Doragon, the Blood Dragon. It is a very unique blade, in that it gives her the power of her opponent. One drop of their blood on her blade, and their power is added to her own. Because of this, this seemingly frail little girl has been known to take down battleships. However, she will regularly drain her blade of blood, because she doesn't want to intimidate potential new crew members.
Life as a child-
Cheryl, as a young girl, always imagined herself at the top. She wasn't a villain or anything, she simply wished to be at the top, as many do. She was always a shy girl, though, constantly pushed around and bullied. That is why, when she found the blade, she took its power without a second thought. One day, while exploring on her little island home, Cherry happened upon a cave. Curious, she entered the cave and began exploring. And what would she find, but the Ketsueki Doragon, the blade that would forever change her life. The moment she picked it up, she was filled with the power of all those it had cut down in its time. She had become a powerhouse.
Life with the blade-
After she had conquered her bullies and taken their power for her own, she set out to find what she should do next. She knew she could easily defeat her island home, but this was just one island! Then, it struck her. She didn't want an island, she wanted the sea~ she giggled a bit as she ran to the nearest school, and went directly to the drama department. It was there that she found the clothes she would wear to become: Captain Blood, the best pirate captain in the world. Now, all she needed was a boat and crew....but where could she find those?
The Ship-
She was amazed! She had actually happened upon a stroke of luck, pirates were invading her island~! Well...it was lucky for her at least. she eagerly ran right up tot he captain, and challenged him to a duel. The captain merely laughed at the girl, which sliiightly pissed Cherry off. It was then, for the first time, that she unleashed the full power of her blade. Calling out its name, she summoned forth a massive blood dragon, that swept across the island, and slaughtered the pirates. She smiled and turned, panting and exhausted from using the dragon, expecting to be hailed as a hero by her friends and neighbors, but instead they began to fear her, throwing stones at her. she whimpered a bit, then ran to the now abandoned ship. she set sail that very day...who knows where her ship will take her now...hopefully to find a crew..
The blade, Ketsueki Doragon-
As stated before, this blade gives its wielder the power of their enemies, and all they need is one drop of blood. This gives them their power, but none of their weaknesses. However, the wielder can choose to drain the blade of blood, and give up the power, if they so choose. Additionally, by calling out the name of the blade, the wielder can summon a massive blood dragon to attack their foes. The dragon can only be summoned when the blade senses severe emotional turmoil in its wielder, such as mass amounts of fear or sorrow or fury. However, should the wielder loose their own blood, even a drop, their power will begin to leave them. After five minutes, they will be powerless, and will have to recover before being able to fight again. Usually a full 24 hours is required for the recovery, and once recovered, the blade will be fully drained, leaving the wielder at only their own strength until they can gain more. The blade will then become a regular sword for a full day, unable to absorb new power until the day is up. Additionally, use of the Dragon will leave the wielder drained and exhausted.
