star date year 3428. humanity’s long standing republic has started to outlaw the use and creation of biomachines and other android Entities without proper Restrictions and “ deadbolts” in place. this lead to many groups conflicting view points with the ERRD ( earth republic robotics division) cracking down on many private corperations in rather. agressive ways

samantha was a simple girl when she was growing up went to school. had friends and dreams. that sort of thing. around her 32nd birthday she was approched by one of the large scale biomachine designers in her area. hammond industries. overjoyed and coming off fresh with her master degree in nanomachine creation she joined. hoping to make a difference in the world. that all changed when the lab she was working on was assulted and subsaquently destroyed. while the goverment claimed it was a “ freak accident with a rouge machine “ samantha knew they were lies.

infuriated and left with no options. she took her lab coat. several containers of nanites and a small cargo ship. and left earth and its corrupt systems she made her way out of most the glactic shipping lanes. always claiming she was on a delivery mission for hammond Industries. her destination was clear. the outer rim. a place that was as lawless as the world was several millienia ago. she made it her home for a month. and after that month of waiting. toiling and working herself to the very bone. using whatever salvage there was she soon built herself a ship and not a very small one at that. she hsd rebuilt an old capital ship from earth. lost out in the outer rim ages ago known as the “ HMS swordwraith”

with her new ship under her command a fleet of marauders sworn to her name. and a mostly scrap bot crew. captain rustbeak simply wants one thing. to bring her own sort of “ frontier justice” down onto the earth republic for slaugthering her friends and loved onces
