Carimel

Harp

Being the result of a failed experiment of a powerful tribe of harpies Carimel, also called Mel, or sometimes Cari didn't have an easy life. Her mother, a powerful magician was kidnaped by a group of harpies and trapped by them threatening her to kill her if she'd even tried to use magic. At night the most opwerful males entered her prison and raped her.. every day for a few weeks until they were sure their prisoner was pregnant.

A few months later the first demi harpy was born, Carimel, they grew her outside from the tribe training her in reading, writing and inducing her the propaganda of their tribe. They raised her to be able to get a loyal soldier among the Harpies tribe, a magician powerful and only raised to serve them.

She did never see her mother who died after giving birth to two more demi harpies before she killed herself no longer able to see the abortions coming out of her womb. Meanwhile the harpies tried to train Carimel in magic but it didn't seem to have an effect. None of the spells from the stolen books worked nothing did bring them closer to succeding their plan of powerful harpy magicians.

The queen of the harpy tribe decided to make an example of those responsible for the plan and fed them to her strongest warriors to make them stronger. It was a great feast and to top it the queen decided to take care of the demi-harpies herself, Carimel and her brothers were tied up and served the queen on the top of the feast.

The next morning Carimel woke up in her chamber naked but unharmed. She quickly flies out of her nest and to the townhall where the feast took place, where she was shoked seeing the remains of the feast, her queens belly still straining from her and her brothers, first she didn't understand anything but that she had to get away if she wanted to escape.

She quickly fetched the books about magic given to her and flies as fast as she could away from the place she did spent her whole life. She managed to find a nice high tree somewhere close to an human village where she did built her nest. It didn't take long for her to figure out that it were her former people raiding the human villages, the harpy-tribes were the aggressors, not the other way around. She did quit from eating humans, mosty, except for humans threatening her.
