Cartex

Looking at Cartex, you spot a rather large spider at around 16ft in length and pulling up to 12ft in height. His main colouration is a dull gray with a few red spots on his bulbous abdomen. Those eight spider like legs being a pitch black, sometimes hard to see at night because of they are very thin. His thorax greatly dips in from the largeness of the abdomen, and that spidery head is slightly bigger being a mix between the dull gray of his abdomen and the black of his legs. Although he is a spider, he is quite hairy like a tarantula and those who have got close to him have even noticed that hes soft. He also has very small little feelers at the end of his mouth, hairy like the rest of him in order to feel where hes going. His eyes although being the deepest of blacks, invite you with a glare, drawing you nearer to him.

((Don't read this and instantly think "VAMPIRIC!". He will NOT do this, it's not in the players or the characters tastes.))

Cartex's personality is surprising for a spider. He is not cruel and will make friends with people. He is still gentle when he is hungry.. just he will eat. The way that he eats is very different also. One of his main kicks is pulling up prey into his ass where he has a second stomach to digest his prey. Although he does sometimes spit at his prey to soften them up a bit. He can opt to stuff them in his mouth as well, but it isn't his favourite method. Now you may think that you'd be dragged up him wrapped in silk. You'd be partly right. Cartex loves to do this but he also does something different. Cartex will emit a very arousing and immobilising spray onto the victim from glands in his ass. This is rather like a skunk-spray but it doesn't necessarily smell bad and also is able to literally move the prey through the air and right up his butt. His spidery legs are blunt at the end, he mostly uses them to help prey in. However he is not beyond using them to defend himself, still being strong enough to stab into flesh, but not armour. He will generally avoid conflict at most costs unless he is in serious danger. Cartex personally, does not like to permanently kill his victims and can reform using DNA he has collected of the prey and emitting it out, where the particles push parts of the prey together and the soul can re-enter. (Note that I will do fatality, even if my bar is on full dislike, he just prefers not to, you just have to specify in a pm or in IC beforehand).

Cartex also teases his prey and his voice is a smooth seductive manly one. Anything with a weak mind will be made willing to be eaten. About sex... Cartex does have a thin extremity on the underside of his abdomen that he keeps within a slit. It doesn't hurt to mate with Cartex but you have to convince him that it's worth doing before he eats you ;)

If you're cute.. you're damn well preferred, I mean cute as in both meanings of cute. Hot or adorable. Both is even better! Cartex will be very gentle, caring and trustworthy to cute people, he just likes them. Be aware though, it kind of spurs him to want to eat you. Theres a pattern going on in his books, the cuter you are, the better you taste :D.

But, well if you're cocky and not sensitive of others this right pisses the arachnid off. He will not associate with them and probably mercilessly finish them off. He won't do draw blood, and he only ever has painless acids, so generally if hes mean he will suffocate and squeeze at them with whatever he can. Be it his silk or his muzzle if necessary. He does not like to do this.. so you seriously gotta make him angry.

I am highly aware that some of you may want this spider as a mate. So.. if you honestly do, you're going to have to face up to the fact that the spider will have several mates, possibly of any gender. Hes far too lovable for just one. If you don't like this idea, don't even try to become his mate.

Abilities

Tiptoe - Cartex is extremely quiet and does not make much noise when attempting to track down prey, it would take someone with absolutely amazing senses to hear him when hes on the hunt.

Ass-spray - Cartex always likes to emit this it doesn't matter whether hes eating orally or anally. The spray works in several different ways, working into the preys mind, arousing them or works to mind control and get them to be more willing. It also can go to the muscles to numb them. Cartex can control whether he wants the spray to have one two or perhaps all 3 of these effects at any given time. The more of it that hits the prey with the immobilising effect the harder it is to move until they are completely paralyzed although still being able to move their eyes about and keep them open.

Silk - Being a spider, Cartex likes to bond his prey in silk to eat. But he will not wrap up the head unless he absolutely must do so since he loves the prey to know whats going on and also see their reactions to him. The silk is very strong but can be broken even if it's tightly bound. However any strugglers will be nullified by the spray anyway so it's very hard to escape once hes hugged you with the threads. They are very soft to the skin also.

Reforming - If the large spider ever does find himself being the one whos eaten his spray will reform him in the same way he reforms prey, as he emits it just before the deed is done.
