Fun Facts: ○ Although they can't see the normal way, they can differentiate different objects and pokemon through psychic ability (as well as telling the difference between voices and other sounds.) They have a hard time "seeing" dark- and ghost-types, however. ○ Permanent bedhead, no matter what. Not that it makes a difference, since they can't see anything anyways. ○ They prefer to stay on the ground; they aren't too comfortable with being carried unless it's someone they know or there's no other choice. ===========================================================================================================================

This peculiar Pichu is always asleep... quite literally, thanks to their ability. It can be inconvenient at times (a lot of times, in fact) since they'll never be fully aware of their surroundings no matter what, but this isn't so bad of a drawback to keep them from functioning on an average enough level. They can still very much communicate and move about as they please, even if they'll seem a little dazed and disoriented while doing so. Basically, it's as if they're sleepwalking, only they're a little more aware than the average sleepwalker.
Forever-sleep notwithstanding, Castor's a fairly quirky little guy, often acting as if they're zoned out or generally unaware, when more times than not they're anything but. They're a fan of playing tricks and doing a bunch of otherwise benign pranks on the rare passerby or visitor for their own amusement. They've faked deep sleep many times in order to skip out on doing things or to avoid getting into trouble, with mixed results.
They're fairly curious about what goes on outside their own little world, but as it stands they aren't really allowed to go very far for... a multitude of reasons, for their own safety. They more or less understand, but it still doesn't change that they're pretty lonely at the end of the day.

History:
On a quiet night, where there were no clouds in the sky and the moon and stars shone bright, a lone figure placed a small bundle at the mouth of Wish Cave. They left without a trace afterwards, with a single request to the being that they only knew from legend and rumor: give their little one a safe place to stay, something that they couldn't provide.
Although not awake, Jirachi still heard this wish, and teleported the egg deeper into the cave where it could be safe until the right person came along. They bestowed their blessing onto the egg for good luck, and then they waited. During this time the egg had actually hatched, although curiously they always stayed asleep. Jirachi made sure their needs were met in the meantime, bringing in food from nearby areas, and kept them company through their dreams.
It took quite some time before another pokemon approached the cave, an explorer enticed by the legends of a wish granting pokemon. Rather than wishing for power or fortune, however, all she wanted was something a little more simple: an opportunity to start a family. With this goal in mind, the explorer began to investigate the depths of Wish Cave, although before she could dive much deeper in she found something in one of the safe spots of the dungeon.
Much to her surprise, there was a young pichu sleeping all alone.
How someone so young managed to make it into this cave, let alone where their parents even were, was a concerning mystery, but before figuring all that out, she knew that she couldn't just leave the little one there. Without a second thought she picked the child up and left, bringing them to a more comfortable place until she could find either of their parents. However, her 'rescue' eventually turned into an indefinite adoption, since no matter how much she looked and investigated she couldn't track down the child's parents. She was responsible for taking care of them now, which in its own way was what she wanted all along...

Two turns after this move is used, the user blasts the target with a concentrated bundle of light.
Heart Stamp
The user unleashes a vicious blow after its cute act makes the target less wary. This may also make the target flinch.
Yawn
The user lets loose a huge yawn that lulls the target into falling asleep on the next turn.

The target is hit by a weak telekinetic force. This may also confuse the target.
