"Just think of me as a very curious tourist. I...am unfamiliar with human settlements."

The only thing that Cecilia can remember of her life before she was adopted was pain. From what her mother had told her, she was only four years old at the time when she was found alone and bleeding out underneath the bodies of her real parents in the wreckage of a carriage. They had been traveling and were beseiged by bandits. Her mother, by chance, had happened upon the wreckage and heard her pained cries. The young kunoichi brought the injuried girl back to her village to tend to her wounds, which would save her life.

Cecilia could not recall anything other than her name after the incident and rightfully so. She had no ties to the world beyond her new village but she struggled to accept her new place in the world. She was alone, afraid and was unsure if she was truly safe despite this bovine woman's insistance that she would take care of her. It took several months before she came out of her shell and began to accept this woman as her new caretaker.

One thing that the young girl quickly realized was that every inhabitant of the village, young and old, was female in appearance. Another thing she quickly came to realize, especially after interacting with youths her age, was that everyone had the same parts. Every member of the village was a natural-born hermpharodite. Cecilia would become one herself as well as she grew older; the mystical nature of the village changing her to intergrate her into its way of life. The language gradually began to become second nature to her and her old native language felt almost alien to her.

The village that Cecilia now calls home is a hidden village given that its military force are ninja. While there is a "civilian" populace, everyone in the village receives some degree of ninja training at least for basic self-defense. Growing up Cecilia desired to become a ninja to for two reasons: to see the outside world and to eat. Most of those that travel beyond the village borders are ninja, and that primarily for training or missions. It was more a curiosity than a desire to return to where she came from. The way her mother put it "outsiders were tasty."

Cecilia longed for the opportunity to be able to truly eat someone. Swallowing the neighbor's daughter and holding her in her first stomach got old, even if it was fun. They were allowed to eat and digest outsiders regardless on if said outsider was willing or not.
